Signed Letter of Intent to run for Steve Taylor at the University of Richmond
Noteworthy: In 2007, he got a stress fracture that was diagnosed in late March. I think he ran in one meet before the diagnosis. He wanted to try to run at the Regional and State Meets and indicated that the doctors had told him it wouldnt set him back any more, so we allowed him to run. I don't really know if it set his recovery back any or not, but we pretty much rested him most of the summer and started him back in, I think, early July, with brutal workouts like 30 seconds of running and 5 minutes of walking. He didn't resume "normal" training until close to the end of Cross Country season, and it's quite the testament to his desire at the time that he managed to win the State XC Meet in the Fall of '07. So, essentially, he lost all of track season and all of the summer leading up to his Senior Cross Country season and still capped it off with a 2nd State Championship.
