Below are the Automatic Qualifying Standards for the State Meet for the High Jump and Pole Vault. Qualifying for those events remain the top 4 in each Region plus anyone who hits the automatic qualifying mark. However, for Class AAAA, with just 2 Regions, it will be the top 8 in each Region plus anyone who hits the automatic qualifying mark.

Automatic Qualifying Standards were dropped for the Long Jump, Shot Put and Discus in 2011. Qualifiers in those events will be determined in the same manner as the running events. That is, the top 2 from each region and the next 8 best performances will advance, except for Class AAAA, which will be the top 4 from each Region and the next best 8 performances.
