100 M	1. Tyra Massey Shady Spring
	2. Safiyyah Mitchell	Huntington
	3. Sabra Metheny	Morgantown
	4. Jahmia Bridges-Butler Morgantown
	5. Sydnei Taylor	Spring Mills
	6. Caylee Painter	Ripley
Massey has the best time in the field by 0.15 seconds. She has four runs better than
anyone else's best. Mitchell has the 2nd best time and the 2nd best series. Metheny
is the only other one to have been under 12.50 and has three runs under 12.60. Bridges-
Butler has a pair of runs under 12.70. Taylor does as well, but Bridges-Butler shows
a better series. Painter has the next best top time and the best series of the three
others that have gone under 12.70. 8 in the field have run 12.70 or better. 11 have
run under 12.75.

200 M	1. Tyra Massey Shady Spring
	2. Safiyyah Mitchell	Huntington
	3. Sydnei Taylor	Spring Mills
	4. Michaela Ashford	Jefferson
	5. Jahmia Bridges-Butler Morgantown
	6. Jakeya Perrin	Cabell Midland
Again Massey appears to be ahead of the field. Her top time is 0.47 ahead of anyone else,
and she has four times better than anyone else's best. Mitchell easily has the next best
time and has four runs under 26 seconds. Taylor is the only other one to have been under
26 seconds. Ashford has four runs better than Taylor's 2nd best. Bridges-Butler has at
least five runs under 26.50 and the next best top time. Perrin has a pair of runs under
26.20. 9 in the field have been under 27 seconds.

400 M	1. Tyra Massey Shady Spring
	2. Amber Dombrowski	Morgantown
	3. Anna Gordon Hurricane
	4. Sydnei Taylor	Spring Mills
	5. Alyssa Long Cabell Midland
	6. Natalie Wiethe	Wheeling Park
Massey has a pair of runs under 49 seconds and at least 5 under 60 seconds. Dombrowski is
the only other one to have a pair of runs under 60 seconds. Gordon only has the 6th best
top time and will have to run from the first heat, but she was 2nd last year and has to be
considered dangerous. Taylor has the top time in the group with a 57.47, but that was in
the first meet of the season, and she hasn't been under 60 since then. Long has the 2nd
best overall series. While she's only been under 60 seconds once, she's been under 60.2
four times. Weithe has a pair of runs under 61 seconds and was 4th last year. 6 in the
field have been under 60 seconds, and 10 have been under 61.

800 M	1. Anna Gordon Hurricane
	2. Mary Zulauf Winfield
	3. Sarah Wills University
	4. Skylar Brooks	Morgantown
	5. Alyssa Long Cabell Midland
	6. Amber Dombrowski	Morgantown
This one will be fun with the top 9 in the field all having top times within 5 seconds of
each other. Gordon has only run the event three times this year, but blasted a leading
2:18.20 at her Regional. She's also the defending champion in the event. Zulauf has the
3rd best time and the wsa 3rd last year. Wills has the 2nd best time and the 2nd best
series. I gave Zulauf the nod for the 2nd spot because Wills will have had to crank out
the 1600 earlier, while Zulauf didn't run the 400 this year. Brooks was the runner-up last
year and has a pair of runs under 2:22. Long also has a pair of runs under 2:22 and a
slightly better overall series than Long. Dombrowski only ran the open twice this year,
but her 2:21.52 at the Regional and her 400 speed make her too much of a threat to ignore.
3 in the field have been under 2:20. 5 have been under 2:21. 7 have been under 2:22.
9 have been under 2:23.

1600 M	1. TaShala Turner	University
	2. Sarah Wills University
	3. Jessie Hogbin	Hedgesville
	4. Rachel Englund	Winfield
	5. Samantha Hatcher	Morgantown
	6. Abbie Short Hurricane
This one should also be a lot of fun with the top 7 all being within about 7 seconds of
each other. Turner has the top time in the field and is the only one with three runs
under 5:20. Wills has the 2nd best time in the field and is one of four with a pair of
runs under 5:20. Those two are the only ones to have been under 5:15. Hogbin only has
the 7th best time in the field, but she has better credentials this year than she did last
year...when she finished 3rd. Englund has the 3rd best top time in the group and a pair
of runs under 5:20 and three under 5:22. Hatcher also has a pair of runs under 5:20.
Short has the 4th best top time in the field with her Regional run. 7 in the field have
been under 5:20. 11 have been under 5:24, and that doesn't include Abby Colbert, the
defending champion, who is returning from injury.

3200 M	1. TaShala Turner	University
	2. Sarah Wills University
	3. Mikaela Mitchell	University
	4. Hannah Lipps	Hampshire
	5. Jessie Hogbin	Hedgesville
	6. Abby Colbert	Jefferson
University looks for the sweep in both the boys and girls races and are favored to get it
in both. Turner has the top time in the field and two runs under 11:15. Wills has the
2nd best time in the field and two under 11:25. Mitchell clocked an 11:11 at the Gazette
Relays. All three only ran the event three times all season. Lipps has one run under 11:30
and another under 11:35. She was also 4th last year and won't be afraid to mix it up with
the leaders. Hogbin has one run under 11:30 and was 5th last year. Colbert only has the
9th best time in the field, but she is the defending champion and has been a big-time
State Meet performer the last three years. I am afraid to leave her out. I initially had
her 4th, but I decided that might be too much of a leap. 6 in the field have been under
11:30. 8 have been under 11:40. 10 have been under 11:45.

100 HH	1. Safiyyah Mitchell	Huntington
	2. Malika Houston	George Washington
	3. Torie Derrow	John Marshall
	4. Jahmia Bridges-Butler Morgantown
	5. Mary Lawman Winfield
	6. Lexi Crompton	Hurricane
The high hurdlers simply went off at their respective regional meets. First I saw Region I
which saw Derrow go 14.47 and Bridges-Butler go 14.52. Then I saw Region III which saw
Houston nearly eclipse the All-Time State Mark with a 14.39. And then I saw Region IV
which had Mitchell just obliterate the All-Time mark with a 14.09. So, Mitchell comes in
with the top time by 0.3 seconds and the best overall series. Houston has the 2nd best
time and the 2nd best series and edged Mitchell at the MSAC meet. Derrow has the 3rd best
time and easily the 3rd best series. Each of these three has at least 5 runs under 15
seconds. No one else has more than 2. Bridges-Butler has the 4th best time and a pair
of runs under 15. Lawman has the 5th best time and also has a pair of runs under 15
seconds. Cromtpon easily has the next best series with four runs under 15.20. 7 have
been under 15.20. 8 have been under 15.40.

300 LH	1. Safiyyah Mitchell	Huntington
	2. Malika Houston	George Washington
	3. Lauren Leaman	Parkersburg
	4. Lexi Crompton	Hurricane
	5. Tiara Jackson	St. Albans
	6. Mallory Baker	Greenbrier East
Mitchell has the top time in the group, has three runs better than anyone else's best,
is the defending champion, and is the owner of the All-Time Best time in the event.
Houston is the only other one to have been under 46 seconds, and she has a pair of runs
in the low 45's. Leaman has the next best time and four runs under 47 seconds. Crompton
has a pair of runs under 47 seconds and at least three more under 48. Jackson ha a better
top time than Crompton, but her 2nd best time is over 48. Baker only has the 8th best
top time but does have a pair of runs under 48 and was 3rd in the event last year. 5 in
the field have been under 47 seconds. 11 have been under 48 seconds.

4x100 M	1. Morgantown
	2. Jefferson
	3. Winfield
	4. Brooke
	5. Cabell Midland
	6. Wheeling Park
Morgantown has four runs at least as fast as anyone else's best. Jefferson has the 2nd
best top time and a pair of runs under 51 seconds. Winfield has three runs under 51
seconds. Brooke has the next best top time and five runs under 51.4 seconds. Cabell
Midland had the 5th best Regional run. Wheeling Park had a sub 51.5 run at the OVAC meet.
Ripley is a wildcard. They ran a sub-51 on April 22, but that was with Audra Thomas who
hasn't run since then. I don't know her status for this meet, but if she's available,
they have an excellent shot at placing.

4x200 M	1. Winfield
	2. Brooke
	3. Wheeling Park
	4. Parkersburg
	5. Hurricane
	6. St. Albans
Winfield is very deep and may have moves that they can make. I know Mary Zulauf is
available. I don't know for sure that she helps the relay. Regardless, only they and
Brooke have a pair of runs under 1:48. Brooke has the best top time in the field, so they
could easily take the event. Wheeling Park is the only other team to have gone under
1:48. No one else has been under 1:49. Hurricane has the 5th best time but will have to
do their work from the 1st heat. This placing assumes they run the unit from the MSAC,
which includes Lexi Crompton. St. Albans has the only other run under 1:50.

4x400 M	1. Winfield
	2. Morgantown
	3. Cabell Midland
	4. Shady Spring
	5. University
	6. Hurricane
I have Winfield and Morgantown both running 4:06. Morgantown has been faster, but I went
with Winfield. I think their the most likely to eclipse that mark. Morgantown gets the
2nd spot. I have Cabell Midland at 4:07. I placed Shady Spring in the 4th spot because
they've already been at 4:11. I show them at 4:10. I actually show University and
Hurricane at 4:09. As in the 4x200, Hurricane will have to make their mark in the first
heat. I have two more at 4:11 and another at 4:12.

4x800 M	1. Morgantown
	2. Winfield
	3. University
	4. Cabell Midland
	5. Hurricane
	6. Parkersburg
I think we're going to see some really fast times in this event. The record is in jeopardy.
I have Morgantown at 9:31 which matches the record. I actually show Winfield with a 9:29
potential, but they just haven't been anywhere near it. I have University at 9:35. I can
easily see any of these three winning it. I have Cabell Midland at 9:45. I have Hurricane
at 9:48, and Parkersburg at 9:55. I have three others that I believe have sub-10:00
potential.

Shuttle 1. Parkersburg
	2. Winfield
	3. Wheeling Park
	4. Ripley
	5. John Marshall
	6. Jefferson
Parkersburg is the class of the field with four runs faster than anyone else's best. Their
top time is over 1.3 seconds ahead of the field. Winfield is the only other one to have
been under 1:05. Wheelign Park is the only other team to have been under 1:06. Ripley
is the only other one to have been under 1:07. John Marshall gets this spot only if Torie
Derrow is moved back onto this relay. I think they make that move. Jefferson gets the
nod for the 6th spot. 7 teams have been under 1:08. 9 have been under 1:09.

H Jump	1. Carly Hinkle	Winfield
	2. Laurel Miller	Ripley
	3. Torie Derrow	John Marshall
	4. Hannah Cartwright	Winfield
	5. Lexi Crompton	Hurricane
	6. Lauren Leaman	Parkersburg
Hinkle is the only one with a pair of 5'8 jumps and the only one with at least five jumps
of at least 5'6 and she beat Miller at the MSAC. Miller has the only 5'9 jump in the field
and was the runner-up last year. Derrow has a 5'8 jump and a 5'6 jump. Cartwright has a
5'4 jump and at least four 5'2 jumps. Crompton and Leaman both have a 5'4 jump and a pair
of 5'2 jumps, but Crompton got her 5'4 jump more recently at the MSAC where she beat Leaman.

P Vault	1. Haley Snodgrass	Capital
	2. Shannon Riley	Winfield
	3. Lauren Zaglifa	Washington
	4. Lauren Riner	Spring Mills
	5. Maddi Randolph	Ripley
	6. Carmine Guynn	Washington
Snodgrass has the only 10'6 vault in the field, and she has five of them. Riley is the
only other one with multiple 10'0 vaults with three to her credit. Zaglifa is the only
other one with a 10'0 vault, and she has three 9'6 vaults to go with it. Riner has a 9'7
vault and a pair of 9'0 vaults. Randolph has a pair of 9'6 vaults and three 9'0 vaults,
but her 9'6 vaults came in early April and in March. I only show three vaults for Guynn,
but each is at least 9'0. 8 in the field have vaulted 9'0 at least once.

L Jump	1. Malika Houston	George Washington
	2. Michaela Ashford	Jefferson
	3. Maddie McClintic	Greenbrier East
	4. Mary Lawman Winfield
	5. Sydnei Taylor	Spring Mills
	6. Mackenzie Sims	Parkersburg
Houston is the defending champion, has the top jump in the field, and has three jumps of
at least 17'6. Ashford is the only other one in the field to have multiple jumps of 17'0.
McClintic only has the 7th best top jump, but has the 3rd best series. I'm rewarding
consistency. Lawman has a 17'0 jump and another that just missed that mark. Taylor has
a jump over over 17'8, but no others over 16'5. However, she was the runner-up last year.
Sims has a 16'11.25 jump and the next best series. 8 in the field have jumped at least
16'9. 13 have jumped 16'0.

Shot	1. Ericka Budd Huntington
	2. Kiauna Facemyer	Capital
	3. Aislyn Hayman	Point Pleasant
	4. Alex Gray Capital
	5. Kylie Miles Cabell Midland
	6. Tori Banjoman	Jefferson
Budd has the only 40'0 throw in the field, and she's done it twice. Facemyer has three
throws over 39'0 and a better overall series than Budd. Hayman has the next best top throw
and three throws of 38'0. Gray has a pair of 38'0 throws. Miles has a slightly better
top throw than Gray, but Gray has a better overall series. Banjoman has a 38'0 throw
and a 37'0 throw.

Discus	1. Aislyn Hayman	Point Pleasant
	2. Dominique Hailey	Musselman
	3. Ericka Budd Huntington
	4. Lillie Jacobs	George Washington
	5. Kylie Miles Cabell Midland
	6. Sirena Bennett	Shady Spring
Hayman has a pair of throws over 130'0 and five of at least 123'0. Hailey has the best
top throw in the group with a 136'0 throw, but her overall series isn't as good as Hayman's.
Bugg also has a 13'0 throw to her credit and is one of just two with three throws of 125'0.
No one else has thrown over 111'0. Jacobs has a pair of throws of 110'0. Miles has two
of at least 105'0 and is the only remaining competitor with five 100'0 throws. Bennett
has three 100'0 throws.
