2. Tyra Joplin Mingo Central
3. Katie Preece Scott
4. Marlee Angelucci North Marion
5. Kylee Leathers Weir
6. Josie Rhodes Liberty Harrison
Smith broke the All-Time State Mark during the season with an 11.97. That is nearly a full
second faster than anyone else has ran. It gets really messy after that. Joplin has the
next best series and the next best top time. Preece only has the 6th best top time, but
has been consistently fast late in the season with 5 runs under 13.20. Angelucci has the
next best series of times. Leathers has a better top time than Angelucci but not as strong
of an overall series. Rhodes is actually one of just three to have gone under 13 seconds,
but her series isn't as strong. Only three have gone under 13 seconds, but 8 have gone
under 13.20, and 11 have gone under 13.25.
200 M 1. McKenna Smith Bridgeport
2. Josie Raines Roane
3. Katie Preece Scott
4. McKenna White Keyser
5. Isabella Bowen Bridgeport
6. Erica Totten Bluefield
Smith also set a new All-Time State mark in this event with a 24.60. She had three other
clockings under 25 seconds as well. Her time is over 2 seconds ahead of the rest of the
field. Raines is the only other one to have gone under 27 seconds twice. Preece is the
only other one to have been under 27 seconds. Her overall series is actually better than
Raines'. White has three runs under 27.30. Bowen has a pair of runs under 27.50. Totten
gets the nod for the final spot.
400 M 1. McKenna Smith Bridgeport
2. Alex Arnott Oak Glen
3. Isabella Bowen Bridgeport
4. Grace Burgess Keyser
5. Katie Preece Scott
6. Avery Thrush Robert C. Byrd
Smith is dominant here as well with three runs under 58 seconds and a top time of 57.17 that
is almost 3 1/2 seconds ahead of anyone else. She doesn't own the All-Time State Best in
this...it's 56.11 for the record. Arnott is the only other one with a pair of runs under
61 seconds and the only other one with more than three under 62. Bowen has the next best
top time and the next best top end series. She's only ran the open three times. Burgess
is the only other one to have gone under 61 and has a pair of runs under 62 and 5 under 63.
Thrush has the next best series. 6 have gone under 62 seconds. 8 have been under 62.2.
11 have been under 63.
800 M 1. Alex Arnott Oak Glen
2. Olivia Carpenter Nicholas
3. Stephanie Golden Berkeley Springs
4. Avery Thrush Robert C. Byrd
5. Alyssa Woods Nicholas
6. Taylor Trowbridge North Marion
Arnott is the only one to have been under 2:25, which she's done twice. She has the top
time in the field by over 2 seconds and has excellent 400 speed. Carpenter has the next
best top time and series and has three runs under 2:30. Golden only has the 6th best
time in the field, but her resume in this event is far better this year than it was last
year when she won it. Thrush has the 3rd best top time and is one of just two in the
field with 3 runs under 2:29. Woods has a pair of runs under 2:29. Trowbridge has gone
under 2:28. 6 in the field have gone under 2:30. 10 have been under 2:33.
1600 M 1. Stephanie Golden Berkeley Springs
2. Taylor Trowbridge North Marion
3. Jessica Melvin Philip Barbour
4. Abby Beeman Frankfort
5. Katie Napier Wayne
6. Kierra Hodge Philip Barbour
Golden has the top time in the field by over 4 seconds and is one of just two in the field
with more than one run under 5:40. Trowbridge has the 2nd best top time with her Gazette
Relays run. Mevlin's top time is just off Trowbridge's, and she is the other one that
has multiple runs under 5:40 with four of them. Beeman has the next best top time and the
next best series. Napierhas the next best run and a pair of runs under 5:42. Hodge only
has the 8th best top time, but has the next best series. Only one in the field has been
under 5:30. 3 have been under 5:33. 5 have been under 5:40. 10 have been under 5:45.
3200 M 1. Jessica Melvin Philip Barbour
2. Stephanie Golden Berkeley Springs
3. Kierra Hodge Philip Barbour
4. Julianna Butcher Frankfort
5. Abby Beeman Frankfort

Melvin has the top time in the field by almost 14 seconds and has five runs better than
anyone else's best. Golden is the only other one to have been under 12:00. Hodge has
a slightly better top time and slightly better series than Butcher. Beeman gets the nod
for 5th as she has only run the event twice, but both times were 12:21 or better. Napier
has a better top time than Beeman. Only 2 have been under 12:00. 4 have been under 12:10.
8 have been under 12:20. 10 have been under 12:30.
100 HH 1. Taylor Zdan Weir
2. Samantha Kirk Ritchie
3. Mateah Kittle Bridgeport
4. Taelor Berryman Liberty Harrison
5. Hanah Gordon North Marion
6. Khara Teets Keyser
Zdan has the best time in the field by 0.45 seconds, and she's the only one with multiple
runs under 16 second, of which she has 3. Kirk is the only other one to have gone under
16 seconds and has four runs better than anyone else's best. Kittle has come on late and
easily has the next best time and series. Berryman has the next best series, though only
the 6th best top time. Gordon has a pair of runs under 17 seconds. Teets has the 4th
best top time, but that has been her only run under 17.4 seconds. 6 in the field have
been under 17 seconds. 8 have been under 17.1.
300 LH 1. McKenna Smith Bridgeport
2. Samantha Kirk Ritchie
3. Stephanie Pennacchio Weir
4. Danielle Godbey Roane
5. Mateah Kittle Bridgeport
6. Kayla Grose Frankfort
Smith has a top time that is over 2.3 seconds ahead of the field. She has a pair of run
under 46 seconds. Kirk is the only other one to have been under 48 seconds, and she's
done it five times, the only one in the field that can make that claim. Pennacchio has
the next best top time and series, just a bit ahead of Godbey on both counts. Kittle has
the next best top time. Grose has a better series than Kittle, but the top time is nearly
0.6 seconds slower. 7 in the field have been under 50 seconds. 10 have been under 50.5.
4x100 M 1. North Marion
2. Liberty Harrison
3. Keyser
4. Bridgeport
5. Bluefield
6. Weir
This one is quit the mess. I just reconfigured it and have it drastically different than I
did before. This is anyone's race. I went with North Marion at the top on having the best
Regional time. Liberty Harrison had the next best Regional time. Keyser only has the 6th
best top time in the field, but they'll have the ability to add Bajur White to this unit.
I'm not 100% certain that she helps it, but I think she does. Bridgeport was just edged
out by Liberty Harrison by 0.04 at the Regional. Bluefield has the top overall time in
in the field, but that was at a hand-timed meet. Their best FAT timeis actually only 7th.
Weir has the 3rd best top time and the 5th best regional time. Honestly, I think any of
these 6 could win this event.
4x200 M 1. Weir
2. Bridgeport
3. Liberty Harrison
4. Bluefield
5. North Marion
6. Keyser
Weir is the only team to have been under 1:50, and they've done it twice. Their top time
is 1.9 seconds ahead of 2nd place. Bridgeport has the 2nd best time. They could move
Isabella Bowen onto this unit, which would require dropping one of her individual events,
likely the 100, and contend for the win. Liberty Harrison's regional run was just 0.07
off Bridgeport's and they have a better series. Bluefield has the next best time and would
have the ability to add Lexi Trigg to that unit. North Marion has the next best top time.
Oak Glen has the next best top time and a better series than North Marion.
4x400 M 1. Bridgeport
2. North Marion
3. Oak Glen
4. Liberty Harrison
5. Berkeley Springs
6. Nicholas
On second though, if Bridgeport moves Bowen, I think it will be here. I think that would
pretty much assure them of the win in this event. They may not make a change at all, and
they'll still contend. North Marion can hit around 4:15 I think. I think Oak Glen can
go 4:18. Liberty Harrison can go 4:20. I have Berkeley Springs at 4:21. I think Nicholas
can contend for a top 3 if they move Olivia Carpenter onto this unit from the Shuttles.
I actually show Keyser with potential for about a 4:18, but they just haven't been anywhere
near that, so I left them out.
4x800 M 1. Nicholas
2. Berkeley Springs
3. North Marion
4. Keyser
5. Liberty Harrison
6. Robert C. Byrd
Nicholas has the best time in the field and I show them with the most potential. Berkeley
Springs shows up 2nd on both accounts. I have North Marion with slightly more upside than
Keyser, so I have them the spot. I have Liberty Harrison just below them. I gave Robert
C. Byrd the edge over Bridgeport based on the regional. I actually show Bridgeport with
the same potential time as Liberty Harrison.
Shuttle 1. Weir
2. Liberty Harrison
3. Keyser
4. Roane
5. Grafton
6. Bridgeport
Weir has the top time in the field by over 0.8 seconds. They're the only ones with a pair
of runs under 1:08 or with 5 runs under 1:09. Liberty is the only other team to have been
under 1:07. They also have three runs under 1:08 and four under 1:09. No one else has
been under 1:09. Keyser is the only other team to have been under 1:10. Roane gets the
edge over Grafton based on a a better series. Bridgeport has the next best time and series.
H Jump 1. Hayley Willey Robert C. Byrd
2. Kristen Crowder Bridgeport
3. Hannah Phillips Liberty Harrison
4. Bethany Stern Liberty Harrison
5. Ariel Allen Liberty Harrison
6. Emily Hershberger Fairmont Senior
Willey is the only one with multiple jumps higher than 5'0. She's also the only one to
clear 5'2 at the Regional. Crowder is the only other one to have cleared 5'2, but she
has only one other 5'0 clearance to her credit. Phillips and Stern each have three 5'0
jumps. Allen has a pair of 5'0 jumps. Hershberger hasn't clared 5'0 but does have a full
series of 4'10 jumps. Only two cleared 5'0 at their Regionals, one of which is Lauar May,
who I don't have placing because it has been her only jump better than 4'8. 7 in the
field have bleared 5'0. 9 have cleared 4'10.
P Vault 1. Caroline Lloyd Bridgeport
2. Wylie Everly Liberty Harrison
3. Abi Haught Ritchie
4. Sarah Cokeley Ritchie
5. Lauren Winkie Bridgeport
6. Carli Berkhouse Roane
Lloyd has the only 10'0 vaults in the field, and she has a pair of them. Everly is the
only other one with multiple 9'6 clearance, and she has three of them. Haught has a 9'6
vault and a pair of 9'0 vaults. Cokeley has a 9'0 vault and a full series of 8'6 vaults,
and she is the defending champion. Winkie has three 8'0 vaults. Berkhouse has a pair of
8'0 vaults and three 7'6 vaults. 9 in the field have cleared 8'0.
L Jump 1. Josie Raines Roane
2. Lydia Philogen Liberty Raleigh
3. Kylee Leathers Weir
4. Marlee Angelucci North Marion
5. Hannah Kincaid Independence
6. Katherine McLaughlin Berkeley Springs
Raines is the defending champion, is one of just two to ahve a 17'0 jump, easily has the
best series, and is the only one with more than 2 jumps of at least 16'0, and she has at
least 5 of them. Philogen has the top jump in the field at 17'6 but has no others over
16'0. Leasthers has a pair of 16'10 jumps and the next best series. Angelucci has the
next best top jump and series. McLaughlin has a pair of jumps of at least 15'5. Only
three in the field topped 16'0, but 14 have jumped at least 15'0.
Shot 1. Brooke Burns Scott
2. Kasey Neville Philip Barbour
3. Kayla Willison Keyser
4. Mica Mathis Wayne
5. Kasinda King Frankfort
6. Kaitlin Bush Roane
Burns has the top throw in the group and three throws of at least 35'0. Neville has the
best series in the group. She's the only one with a pair of throws over 36'0 and with
five throws of 35'0. But her four best throws came in mid-April or earlier. Willson has
a 36'0 throw and two others of at least 34'0. Mathis has a 35' through and a pair of 34'0
throws. King have five throws of at least 33'0. Bush has four throws of at lesat 33'0.
7 in the field have thrown 33'0. 11 have thrown 32'0. You wouldn't think 32'0 mattered
all that much, but it didn't take 33'0 to win it last year.
Discus 1. Brooke Burns Scott
2. Kasinda King Frankfort
3. Bridget Bemis Oak Glen
4. Presley Tuttle North Marion
5. Jordan Sigman Summers
6. Shelby Helmick Braxton
Burns has the top throw in the field by nearly 6'0. She has four throws that are at least
4'0 better than anyone else's best. King have five throws of at least 105'0. Bemis has
a better top throw than King. Tuttle only has the 6th best top throw, but she's been over
100' four times. Sigman and Helmick have thrown over 107' feet, but it was the only throw
over 100' in both cases. Sigman edges Helmick on both top throw and series. Only 6 in the
field have thrown 100'. 10 have thrown 95'0.
