Individual Predictions

100 M	1. Hannah Carreon	Clay-Battelle
	2. Colleena Burdock	Union
	3. Alexis Zide Williamstown
	4. Sydney Moore	Tucker
	5. Sydney Glover	Tyler Consolidated
	6. Lindsay Paugh	Moorefield
Carreon has the 2nd best top time and the best overall series of the field. Burdock
has the top time after two excellent Regional runs. She was also 3rd last year. Zide
has the 2nd best series in the field. Moore has three runs under 13.30. Glover has
five runs under 13.40. Paugh had a couple really good runs at the Regional, including
the 3rd best top time. 6 in the field have gone 13.15 or better. Only 7 have been
under 13.32. 10 have been 13.35 or better.

200 M	1. Hannah Carreon	Clay-Battelle
	2. Colleena Burdock	Union
	3. Alexis Saunders	Parkersburg Catholic
	4. Emily Crosten	Tucker
	5. Brianne Cantley	Buffalo
	6. Ashley Eakin	Clay-Battelle
Carreon was the runner-up last year and has the top time by over 0.5 seconds. She has
four runs better than anyone else's best. Burdock and Saunders are the only other ones
to have gone under 27 seconds. Burdock has three runs under 27.30. Saunders has three
runs under 27.40. Crosten has a pair under 27.50, both occurring at the Regional.
Cantleyhas a pair of runs under 28 seconds. Eakin also has a pair of runs under 28.
There is one caveat to these picks. I had Kelsey Kyle in 4th, but I'm guessing that
they move her to a relay. They may do that with Crosten as well (or instead). If they
pull both, next in line for me is Cameron Dowiak from Madonna.

400 M	1. Kelsey Kyle Tucker
	2. Nikki Nolte Wheeling Central
	3. Abby Charles	Doddridge
	4. Alex Gorrell	St. Marys
	5. Cameron Dowiak	Madonna
	6. Haley Moore Wirt
Kyle has the only run under 62 seconds in the field and has four runs under 63 seconds.
Nolte had the 2nd best regional run. Charles is the only one other than Kyle to have
more than one run under 63 seconds. Gorrell has three runs under 64 seconds. Dowiak
has two under 64. Moore has the 3rd best top time in the group, but it's her only run
under 64 seconds. Gorrell and Moore will have to do their work from the first heat.
7 in the field have been under 63 seconds, but only two have done it twice. 10 have
been under 64 seconds.

800 M	1. Jordan Delaney	Magnolia
	2. Lia Preston Charleston Catholic
	3. Brianna Ritz	Magnolia
	4. Abby Charles	Doddridge
	5. Alex Gorrell	St. Marys
	6. Peyton Keener	Charleston Catholic
Delaney has the top time in the field and the best series. Preston has three runs under
2:35 and was 2nd last year. Ritz is one of just two with two runs under 2:33. Charles
has the 2nd best top time. She's only run the open twice, but it's been 2:31 and 2:33.
Gorrell has a pair of runs under 2:34. Keener only has the 8th best time in the field,
but she was 3rd last year.

1600 M	1. Jordan Delaney	Magnolia
	2. Amelia Sebok	Sherman
	3. Lia Preston Charleston Catholic
	4. Amanda Reynolds	Tyler Consolidated
	5. Piper McLaughlin	Trinity
	6. Abbie Barnett	Trinity
Delaney is the only one to have been under 5:30 and has 4 runs of 5:35 or better. Sebok
has gone 5:30 and has three runs under 5:40. Preston is the only other one to have been
under 5:40. Reynolds went 5:40 at her Regional. McLaughlin has a pair of runs under 5:50.
Barnett doesn't have the next best time, but she does have the next best series, and she
was the runner-up last year.

3200 M	1. Amelia Sebok	Sherman
	2. Piper McLaughlin	Trinity
	3. Hannah Gacek	Charleston Catholic
	4. Kasey McNamara	Williamstown
	5. Madison Mullenax	Tucker
	6. Autumn Persinger	Buffalo
Sebok has the top time in the field and a pair of runs under 12:10. McLaughlin is the
only other one to have been under 12:10. She's the only other one to have been under
12:30. Gacek has a pair of runs under 12:45, and at least three under 13:00. McNamara
has two runs under 13:00, as does Mullenax, with McNamara being 2 seconds faster on each.
Persing also has a pair of runs under 13:00. 8 in the field have been under 13:00. Six
have done it twice, but only three have done it three times.

100 HH	1. Hannah Carreon	Clay-Battelle
	2. Lindsey Baker	Wheeling Central
	3. Rosa Plaugher	Doddridge
	4. Presley Jordan	Trinity
	5. Katelyn Gogan	Tyler Consolidated
	6. Hannah Currence	Tygarts Valley
Carreon was the runner-up last year, eclipsing the previous state record. She has the
top time in the group this year and the best series. She's the only one to have more
than two runs under 16 seconds, and she's had at least 5. Baker has the 2nd best top
time and the 2nd best series, and she was 3rd last year. Plaugher is the only other
one to have been under 16 seconds. Jordan has the next best time and is the only other
one to have 3 runs under 17 seconds. Gogan and Currence are the only other ones to
have a pair of runs under 17.

300 LH	1. Lindsey Baker	Wheeling Central
	2. Kelsey Kyle Tucker
	3. Alexis Saunders	Parkersburg Catholic
	4. Kacey Evans South Harrison
	5. Ellie Gardner	Williamstown
	6. Hannah Barger	Madonna
Baker has the top time in the field and was 3rd last year. Kyle has the best series
and is the only one with 3 runs under 48 seconds, but she'll have alread run the 400
which could cost her just a bit. Saunders has the next best time, but probably only
the 5th best series, but she's only run the event four times, and she's gotten faster
each time out. Evans has four runs under 50 seconds. Gardner has a better top time
than Evans, but that's been her only run under 50. Barger has the next best time.
7 in the field have been under 50 seconds. Only three have done it more than once.

4x100 M	1. Tyler Consolidated
	2. Wheeling Central
	3. Madonna
	4. Tucker
	5. Williamstown
	6. Charleston Catholic
Tyler Consolidated has the top time in the field by 0.6 seconds, and the best Regional
time by almost 1.3 seconds. Wheeling Central has a pair of runs under 53 seconds.
Madonna has been under 53 seconds. Tucker has only gone 54 seconds, but I think they
can put together a lineup that can go in the mid-52's. They'll have to do it from the
first heat, though. Williamstown can put together a lineup that might challenge Tyler
Consolidated, but they haven't run that lineup since early April and would have to do
some moving around to do it, and one of the people from that lineup didn't run at the
Regional meet or the Conference meet, so I'm assuming she's still not available. Charleston
Catholic has the next best time and may have one more move they can make here. 7
teams in the field have been under 54 seconds.

4x200 M	1. Wheeling Central
	2. Tucker
	3. Williamstown
	4. Magnolia
	5. Charleston Catholic
	6. Madonna
Wheeling Central has the top time by 2.5 seconds. They've been under 1:50 and no one
else has been under 1:52. They have four runs better than anyone else's best. I again
expect Tucker to make some moves that will place them high in the relay. Williamstown
gets the nod over Magnolia on a slightly better overall series. These four are the only
ones to have been under 1:53. Charelston Catholic and Madonna are the only other ones
to have been under 1:54. Charleston Catholic has a slightly better top time and better
overall series, so they get the edge.

4x400 M	1. Tucker
	2. Charleston Catholic
	3. Madonna
	4. Wheeling Central
	5. Tyler Consolidated
	6. Magnolia
Once again, Tucker's depth will allow them to make some moves. I think they can put
together a unit that can run 4:14. They'll have to do it solo from the first heat and
that will add a degree of difficulty. I expect Charleston Catholic to make some moves
as well, and I think they can run 4:16. Things get really tight after that. I have 8
teams that I believe can run between 4:21 and 4:26. I'm moving Madonna into 3rd as I
believe that they'll add Chloe Conner to the unit. I'm leaving Wheeling Central in 4th
since they've simply been faster than the other teams thus far. Tyler Consolidated
and Magnolia receive the same benefit of the doubt.

4x800 M	1. Charleston Catholic
	2. Tyler Consolidated
	3. Trinity
	4. Williamstown
	5. Magnolia
	6. Tucker
Charleston Catholic is the only one that I think can put together a unit that can go
under 10:15. Tyler Consolidated and Trinity are the only other ones to have gone under
10:30. Williamstown is 10 seconds ahead of the rest of the field. I think Magnolia
can match Williamstown, but they haven't been there, so Williamstown gets the spot.
I'm giving Tucker a slight edge over Wirt for the final spot. 9 in the field have been
under 11:00.

Shuttle	1. Madonna
	2. Tucker
	3. Doddridge
	4. Valley Wetzel
	5. Williamstown
	6. St. Marys
Madonna has a pair of runs under 1:09, and it's been in the last two meets. Tucker has
two runs under 1:10, one of which was under 1:09. Doddridge has the only other run under
1:09, and they did it at the Regional. Valley Wetzel has the only other run under 1:10.
Williamstown has the only other run under 1:11. St .Marys has the next best time and
the next best series.

H Jump	1. Bailey Estep	Magnolia
	2. Rachel Baker	Valley Wetzel
	3. Jenna Nichols	St. Marys
	4. Colleena Burdock	Union
	5. Victoria Buckley	Williamstown
	6. Abigale Buchan	Valley Fayette
Estep is the only one to have gone higher than 5'2, and she's done it twice. She's also
the only one with more than three 5'2 clearances. Baker had three 5'2 clearances,
including the last two meets, and she beat Estep at the Regional. Nicholas cleared
5'2 at the Regional and won the event last year. Burdock has cleared 5'2 twice and
5'0 at least 3 times. Buckley and Buchan are the only other ones to have cleared 5'0
three times.

P Vault	1. Ellie Gardner	Williamstown
	2. Erica Amos Williamstown
	3. Chelsey Randolph	Doddridge
	4. Hannah Casteel	Tyler Consolidated
	5. Amanda Theodoro	Magnolia
	6. Savanah Ferguson	Doddridge
Gardner and Amos have both cleared 10'0. Gardner did it at the Regional. Howerver,
she only has two vaults over 7'0. Amos easily has the best series in the group, but
hasn't been higher than 9'0 since April 25th. Randolph has a complete series of five
vaults of at leat 9'0. Casteel is the only other one to have cleared 8'0 and has at
least four 7'6 vaults. Theodoro has a complete series of 7'6 vaults. Ferguson has four
7'6 vaults. There are only six competitors, so if you clear the opening height, you medal.

L Jump	1. Sydney Moore	Tucker
	2. Colleena Burdock	Union
	3. Jenna Nichols	St. Marys
	4. Alexis Saunders	Parkersburg Catholic
	5. Kaleigh Stewart	Wahama
	6. Hannah Carreon	Clay-Battelle
Moore has easily the best series in the field with five jumps of at least 15'8. Burdock
has a pair of 16'0 jumps. Nichols also has a pair of 16'0 jumps. Saunders has the best
top jump in the field and four of at least 15'5. Stewart has a pair of 16'0 jumps, but
then none in the 15's. Carreon has a 16'0 and three others of at least 15'4. 6 in the
field have a 16'0 jump. 11 have a 15'0 jump. 9 have a pair of 15'0 jumps. 8 have at
least three 15'0 jumps. 7 have at least four 15'0 jumps. 6 have at least five 15'0 jumps.

Shot	1. Aiyana Kachmarek	Tucker
	2. Laura Taylor	St. Marys
	3. Whitney Jemison	St. Marys
	4. Brianna Kendall	Williamstown
	5. Sada Wright Gilmer
	6. Sydney Blatt	Paden City
Kachmarek is one of three with 35' throws and is the defending champion. She's the
only one with five throws over 33'0. Taylor has the top throw in the field and is
the only one with a pair of 35'0 throws. Jemison has a 35'0 throw and two others
over 33'0. She also had the top Regional mark. Kendall has a 34'0 throw and a 32'0
throw. No one else in the field has more than one 32'0 throw. Wright has a 32'0
throw and three 31'0 throws. Blatt has a 33'0 throw and two 31'0 throws. 8 in the
field have thrown 32'0. 11 have thrown 31'0. Only 6 have thrown 31'0 three times.
Only 4 have thrown 31'0 five times.

Discus	1. Aiyana Kachmarek	Tucker
	2. Abigail Buchan	Valley Fayette
	3. Laura Taylor	St. Marys
	4. Paige Phillips	Doddridge
	5. Rylee Cunningham	Williamstown
	6. Gabby Glaspell	Doddridge
Kachmarek is the defending champion and is tied for the top throw in the field. She
has four throws over 120'0 and five of at least 117'0. No one else has multiple throws
over 115'0. Buchan matches Kachmarek's top throw of 125'8. She has five throws of at
least 113'0. Taylor has four throws of at least 110'0. Phillips has a pair of throws
over 105'0 and at least five over 101'0. Cunningham has three throws over 100'0.
Glaspell has a better top throw than Cunningham, and has a pair of throws over 100'0.
