Princeton 1 This will be a battle between Parkersburg and Jefferson. I show Parkersburg with the edge by 12 points, but it's a precarious 12. I have a couple places in which I have Parkersburg followed immediately by Jefferson. Those go the other way, and 12 becomes 4. Every point is going to count. University should get the 3rd spot. I have Huntington and Parkersburg South battling for 4th with Huntington having a slight edge. Parkersburg South has more upward potential than Huntington and could move up as high as 3rd.
AAA Girls Team Predictions 1. Hurricane 70 2. Washington 66 3. Winfield 50 4. Morgantown 44 5. John Marshall 39 6. Wheeling Park 36 7. Parkersburg 35 8. University 34 9. Martinsburg 28 10. Buckhannon-Upshur 26 11. Capital 20 11. St. Albans 20 13. Greenbrier East 18 14. Jefferson 16 15. Huntington 12 16. Cabell Midland 10 17. Ripley 9 17. Spring Mills 9 19. Parkersburg South 8 20. Hedgesville 5 21. Preston 2 22. Point Pleasant 1 This could be very close. I have Hurricane by 4, but Washington is waiting in the wings. Washington gets most of their points from top-end finishes, so they don't have a lot of upward mobility. They'll probably need Hurricane to mess up somewhere. Winfield will battle Morgantown for 3rd. I have just 5 points separating 5th from 8th.

Bridgeport might be able to get into the mix, but it will take an exceptional meet. I have Roane by 4, but Ritchie has more upward potential in their picks, so it will not be a surprise at all if they win it. Keyser will need a strong meet. I think there's a clear cutoff after those four. I have 5th through 10th separated by just 5 points.

Philip Barbour 2 24. Scott 1 This is the least suspenseful of the team races this weekend. Bridgeport will dominate the meet. The battle for 2nd will be close. I have Ritchie taking the spot by 11 points, but I really suspect that it will be closer than that. North Marion may have more upward potential than Oak Glen.

Sherman 2 23. Clay-Battelle 1 23. Pendleton 1 23. South Harrison 1 This is probably a two-team race. Doddridge appears to have a small advantage over Buffalo. The two square off in several head-to-head races that could be very close. Williamstown looks pretty good for 3rd and will be hoping one of the other two teams has a bad weekend. Magnolia and Charleston Catholic should battle for 4th.

Valley Wetzel 1 It looks like another runaway for Williamstown. Charleston Catholic looks like they have a pretty firm grip on 2nd. Tucker and Doddridge should battle for 3rd.
