100 M 1. Devyn Hosby Washington
2. Mykera Days Martinsburg
3. Anacia Hines St. Albans
4. Kasey Williams Parkersburg South
5. Alanna Baylor Jefferson
6. Safiyyah Mitchell Huntington
Hosby only has the 3rd best time, but she is the defending champion. Days just beat
Hosby at the Regional. Hines actually has the top time in the group and has the only
two runs under 12.40. Williams has a pair of runs under 12.60 and five under 12.80.
Baylor placed last year and has three runs under 12.90. Mitchell has a pair of runs
under 12.90. 8 in the field have run under 12.90 and 9 have run under 13 seconds.
200 M 1. Devyn Hosby Washington
2. Mykera Days Martinsburg
3. Anacia Hines St. Albans
4. Kasey Williams Parkersburg South
5. Rhonda Rogombe Washington
6. Sydnei Taylor Spring Mills
Hosby hsa the only sub-26 runs in the group with 2 of them and she's the defending
champion. Days was 3rd last year and has a pair of runs under 26.30. Hines has the
2nd best time and 2nd best series in the group. Williams has five runs under 27.
I initially had Rogombe 9th, but she was 4th last year, and I'm afraid to leave her
out. Taylor has the next best top time.
400 M 1. Devyn Hosby Washington
2. Rhonda Rogombe Washington
3. Shaye Gadomski Greenbrier East
4. Mary Zulauf Winfield
5. Jakeya Perrin Cabell Midland
6. Natalie Weithe Wheeling Park
There seems to be a theme here. Hosby is the defening champion in this event as
well. She only has the 3rd best time in the group but is only half a second off
the top time. Rogombe has the top time and was 2nd last year. Rogombe will have
to do her damage from the 1st heat. I think she's up to the task. Gadomski has a
pair of runs under 59 seconds. Zulauf has 3 runs under 60 seconds. Perrin was 5th
last year and has gone under 60. Weithe is the only other one to have gone under 60
seconds. 9 in the field have been under 61.
800 M 1. Amelia Paladino University
2. Tori Dent Hurricane
3. Anna Gordon Hurricane
4. Peyton Panger Capital
5. Barkley Castro Winfield
6. Allison Lynch Morgantown
Paladino's top time is over 4 seconds ahead of anyone else. Dent has five runs under
2:19. Gordon has a 2:18. Panger also has a 2:18. No one else has been under 2:20.
Castro won the event last year and was the only person to be under 2:20 in 2013.
Lynch was 3rd last year. This group has all gone 2:22 or better. No one else has
been under 2:25. Interestingly, all 6 of these will be in either the 400 or the
1600 during the morning session, possibly opening the door for a fresher individual
to snag a spot.
1600 M 1. Amelia Paladino University
2. Peyton Panger Capital
3. Tori Dent Hurricane
4. Allison Lynch Morgantown
5. Sydney Pineault Morgantown
6. Abby Colbert Jefferson
Paladino is 17 seconds ahead of the field. Panger will be looking to join the very
small list of sub-5:00 1600 runners. Dent and Lynch have both run 5:07 and will
look to go with Panger. Pineault has a 5:11 to her credit. Colbert was 4th last
year and always runs well inthe big meets, so moving up is a distinct possibility.
Also watch Preston's Kaitlyn Workman who was 5th last year with a 5:12.
3200 M 1. Amelia Paladino University
2. Peyton Panger Capital
3. Sydney Pineault Morgantown
4. Abby Colbert Jefferson
5. Kaitlyn Workman Preston
6. Abbie Short Hurricane
Paladino is 51 seconds ahead of the field. If she sets her mind to it, she could
make a run at breaking 10:00, which she just missed at the Gazette Relays. Panger
has also gone under 11:00. Pineault has a pair of runs under 11:10. Colbert got
2nd last year and as stated above performs well in the big meets. Contending for
2nd is not out of the question. Workman has gone under 11:20. No one else has
been under 11:30. Only Short has been under 11:40. 9 in the field have been under
11:50.
100 HH 1. Tori Derrow John Marshall
2. Anacia Hines St. Albans
3. Sarah Bever Parkersburg
4. Audrey Barber Hurricane
5. Makenzi Niebergall Cabell Midland
6. Molli Cunningham Ripley
Derrow has 3 runs under 15 seconds. No one else has cracked that barrier. Hines
has the 3rd best time and 2nd best overall series. Bever has the 2nd best time in
the group. Barbour has 3 runs under 16 seconds, with each being under 15.80.
Niebergall has 5 runs under 16 seconds. Cunningham has 1 run under 16 and the next
best series.
300 LH 1. Sarah Bever Parkersburg
2. Tori Derrow John Marshall
3. Josee Erlandson Winfield
4. Cristin Dolan Wheeling Park
5. Molli Cunningham Ripley
6. Hailee Cunningham John Marshall
Bever was the runner-up last year and has the top time in the field by over a second.
Derrow has the 2nd best time but has only run the event three times. Both Erlandson
and Dolan have a better series. Derrow doesn't normally get to run the event fresh.
I'm thinking that will make a difference. Erlandson has a pair of runs under 48.
Dolan has also gone under 48. Molli Cunningham has 5 runs under 49 seconds with
4 of them being under 48.6. Hailee Cunningham has 3 runs under 48.6 and has beaten
Derrow in their last two meets. 9 in the field have gone under 49 seconds.
4x100 M 1. Martinsburg
2. Winfield
3. Wheeling Park
4. Huntington
5. Cabell Midland
6. Jefferson
Martinsburg had the top Regional time. Winfield is the only team with a pair of
runs under 51 seconds. Wheeling Park has the only run under 50 seconds in the field,
but they'll have to run in the first heat. It's winnable, but harder. Huntington
has a pair of runs under 51.20. Cabell Midland beat Huntington at the MSAC.
Jefferson has the next best time. 9 teams have been under 52 seconds.
4x200 M 1. Wheeling Park
2. Spring Mills
3. Jefferson
4. Cabell Midland
5. Martinsburg
6. Hedgesville
Wheeling Park has the only run under 1:47 in the field. Spring Mills has the 2nd
best time in the field. Jefferson has the 3rd best time. Cabell Midland is one of
two teams with two runs under 1:48. Martinsburg and Hedgesville have been under
1:48. No one else has been under 1:49. Watch for Parkersburg who could add Sarah
Bever to the lineup and contend for a spot.
4x400 M 1. Washington
2. Winfield
3. Greenbrier East
4. Hurricane
5. Hedgesville
6. Morgantown
Washington can go in the 4:04 range, and they may have to. Winfield went 4:10
without Mary Zulauf, who has an event open. Greenbrier East has the potential to
hit around 4:06 as well. Hurricane should be around 4:08. Hedgesville, Morgantown,
and Cabell Midland will be in that range as well. I have 10 teams at 4:11 or better,
so this will be fun to watch. Parkersburg could put Bever here as well to contend
for a place.
4x800 M 1. Hurricane
2. Morgantown
3. Winfield
4. University
5. Jefferson
6. Parkersburg
Hurricane and Morgantown can both go under 9:40. I have Hurricane with the possibility
of a 9:35. Morgantown is close to that area. Winfield and University can both go
under 9:50, but I show Winfield as having a slightly better potential. Jefferson
and Parkersburg get a slight not over Hampshire for the last two spots.
Shuttle 1. Hurricane
2. Wheeling Park
3. Huntington
4. Ripley
5. Greenbrier East
6. Winfield
Hurricane has the only run under 1:05. Wheeling Park has the only other run under
1:06, and they have two of them. Huntington has a pair of runs under 1:07. Ripley
has also gone under 1:07. Greenbrier East has a pair of runs under 1:07.50. Winfield
has three runs under 1:08 as does Cabell Midland.
H Jump 1. Rhonda Rogombe Washington
2. Tori Derrow John Marshall
3. Carly Hinkle Winfield
4. Sarah Bever Parkersburg
5. Laurel Miller Ripley
6. Hannah Cartwright Winfield
Rogombe has a 5'8 jump and a 5'6 jump, but both were in mid-April. Derrow has a 5'6
and a 5'5 with the 5'6 coming in May. Hinkle has a 5'6 jump in May and a batch of
5'4 jumps including one in May. Bever has three clearances of 5'4, but none since
4/17. Miller and Cartwright each have a single jump of 5'4 with Miller's coming at
the Regional Meet.
P Vault 1. Rebekah Lafata Morgantown
2. Allie Perry Winfield
3. Sara Pifer Washington
4. Lauren London Hurricane
5. Courtney Hanshew Hedgesville
6. Crisin Dolan Wheeling Park
Lafata is the only one to have been higher than 10'6, and she's done it 3 times
including a top vault of 11'3. Perry has at least five vaults of 10'0. Pifer is
the only one other than Lafata to have cleared 10'6, and she's done it twice.
London has three 10'0 vaults, but none since 4/12. Hanshew has a pair of 9'6 vaults
with both coming in May. Dolan ha the only other 9'0 vault in the field.
L Jump 1. Tori Derrow John Marshall
2. Rebekah Lafata Morgantown
3. Lauren London Hurricane
4. Maddie McClintic Greenbrier East
5. Tamara Bumgardner Wheeling Park
6. Audrey Barbour Hurricane
Derrow has the only 17' jumps in the field, and she has two of them. Her top five
are all at least 16'8. Lafata has five jumps of at least 16'4. London has three
jumps over 16'6. McClintic was runner-up last year and has three jumps of at least
16'5. Bumgardner is one of just three in the field with five 16'0 jumps. Barbour
has a pair of 16'0 jumps with those occurring in the last two meets. 9 in the field
have reached 16'0.
Shot 1. Mackenzie Leigh Buckhannon-Upshur
2. Abby Watson Hurricane
3. Whitney McAtee Parkersburg
4. Rosa Morris Morgantown
5. Emily Winters John Marshall
6. Ericka Budd Huntington
Leigh has five throws over 40'0 with her 5th best at 40'9. Watson actually has two
throws over 42'0 while Leigh has none. These occurred in the last two meets as well.
She has 4 throws over 40'0 on the season. McAtee has a toss of over 40'0, but that
was at the thrower-friendly confines of Erickson Stadium. No others hit 39'0, but
she does have a pair of 38'0 throws in addition to that one. Morris also has a pair
of 38' throws. Winters is one of 4 in the field with five 37' throws. Bugg has a
38' throw and a 37' throw.

2. Whitney McAtee Parkersburg
3. Megan Wilfond Buckhannon-Upshur

6. Aislyn Hayman Point Pleasant
Leigh's top throw is over 11' further than anyone else's best. She has five throws
better than anyone else's best. McAtee has the 2nd best throw in the group and is
the only other one with five throws of 120'. Wilfong is the only other one in the
field with a pair of 120' throws. Dickerson has four throws over 116'. Watson has
the 3rd best top throw but only one other throw over 115'. Hayman has four throws
over 116'0.
