24. Fairmont Senior 1
24. Riverside 1
24. Spring Valley 1
Like last year, this is a two team race. Jefferson appears to have a fair edge over
Cabell Midland. I show a 15 point cushion, and I think they may have more additional
upside potential than Cabell Midland does. Woodrow Wilson, Winfield, and
Wheeling Park should battle for 3rd.

22. Nicholas 2
22. Parkersburg 2
26. Spring Valley 1
This is not the "done deal" that a lot of people seem to think it is. Morgantown has a very
legitimate shot at winning the meet. That being said, Buckhannon-Upshur is still the favorite.
I think it will be difficult for Martinsburg to knock both of them off. They already have a
lot of upside built into their score. Morgantown and Buckhannon-Upshur don't square off in a
lot of events, just the 4x200, High Jump, Pole Vault, Long Jump, and Shot Put. Among those,
really only the High Jump and Shot Put could end up being swing points. The can't damage
each other much.

AA Boys Team Predictions
1. Ritchie 72
2. Point Pleasant 70
3. Magnolia 66
4. Liberty Harrison 40
5. Berkeley Springs 34
6. Scott 30
7. Greenbrier West 28
8. Shady Spring 24
9. Braxton 20
10. Sherman 19
10. Tyler Consolidated 19
12. Grafton 18
13. Oak Glen 17
14. Poca 15
15. Webster 14
16. Frankfort 12
16. Independence 12
18. Lincoln 10
18. Roane 10
20. Keyser 8
21. Oak Hill 6
22. Westside 5
23. Herbert Hoover 4
24. Bluefield 3
25. Philip Barbour 2
Any of the top 3 could walk away with the title easily. The three teams have multiple
opportunities to square off with each other. In at least 12 of the 18 events, there will
be possible swing points between at least two of these three teams. It will truly be a
meet in which every point matters.

AA Girls Team Predictions
1. Frankfort 74
2. Keyser 72
3. Oak Glen 64
4. Berkeley Springs 54
5. Weir 37
6. Summers 31
7. Liberty Harrison 30
7. Roane 30
7. Shady Spring 30
10. Ritchie 25
11. Point Pleasant 21
12. Wayne 20
13. Tyler Consolidated 18
14. Lincoln 17
15. Webster 10
16. Philip Barbour 8
17. Oak Hill 6
18. Braxton 5
19. Independence 2
19. PikeView 2
19. Ravenswood 2
I think it's possible for any of the top 4 to come out on top. Most of Frankfort's
points are pretty solid, but they have little upside. Keyser has a little more upside,
but they also have a little more downside. A slightly off day for either and Oak Glen
could swoop in an take the title. Berkeley Springs has a few positions that are just
slightly outside placing, and if they have a big day, they can defintely be a factor.

A Boys Team Predictions
1. Doddridge 96
2. Williamstown 74
3. St. Marys 57
4. Buffalo 50
5. Valley Wetzel 37
6. Charleston Catholic 35
7. Richwood 31
8. Wahama 27
9. Bishop Donahue 26
10. Valley Fayette 24
11. Clay-Battelle 19
12. East Hardy 18
13. Fayetteville 16
13. Gilmer 16
13. South Harrison 16
16. Wheeling Central 8
17. Pocahontas 5
18. Tucker 3
This is probably a two-team race. Doddridge and Williamstown appear to have
better depth than St. Marys and Buffalo. Williamstown looks to make a lot of
noise in the Field Events. Doddridge looks to do a lot of damage in the
hurdle events.

A Girls Team Predictions
1. Williamstown 163
2. St. Marys 96
3. Doddridge 95
4. Clay-Battelle 32
5. Tucker 31
6. Charleston Catholic 27
7. Trinity 24
8. Wheeling Central 20
9. Madonna 16
9. Union 16
11. Paden City 10
12. Buffalo 8
13. Cameron 6
14. Bishop Donahue 4
14. Valley Fayette 4
16. Richwood 2
16. Valley Wetzel 2
18. Gilmer 1
18. Wahama 1
This looks like another runaway for Williamstown. They have tremendous depth,
and I have them scoring in 14 of 18 events (and that number could go up) and
winning 4 of 5 relays. St. Marys and Doddridge should have a great battle for
the runner-up position.
