Class AA Boys Individual Event Predictions

100 M	1. Brandon Franklin	Liberty Harrison
	2. Marquez Griffin	Point Pleasant
	3. Easton Hutton	Braxton
	4. Alex Doak Tyler consolidated
	5. Dylan Cottrell	Roane
	6. Chevez Burress	Bluefield
If Franklin is going to get beat this year, this is probably the place. I don't look for it to happen.
His top 5 runs are better than anyone else's best. Griffin has three runs better than anyone else's
best. The fron three have been under 11.40. Only four have been under 11.50. Six have been under
11.60. 9 have been under 11.70.

200 M	1. Brandon Franklin	Liberty Harrison
	2. Marquez Griffin	Point Pleasant
	3. Stephen Rogalski	Magnolia
	4. Alex Doak Tyler Consolidated
	5. Chevez Burress	Bluefield
	6. Dylan Cottrell	Roane
Franklin is a more solid favorite in this one. His # 5 time is over half a second better than anyone
else's best. Griffin and Doak are the only others with multiple FAT runs under 23 seconds. Rogalski
was 2nd in the event last year. 4 in the field have been under 23 seconds. 10 have been under 23.50.

400 M	1. Brandon Franklin	Liberty Harrison
	2. Stephen Rogalski	Magnolia
	3. Nick Blatt Magnolia
	4. Clint Hardman	Ritchie
	5. Mark Manning	Oak Hill
	6. Isaac Cales Independence
Franklin should win this handily. His 48.24 is the top in the field by over 1.4 seconds. He has three
runs bette than anyone else's best. Rogalski is the only other one to have gone under 50. No one else
has been under 51.75. Blatt gets the nod over Hardman purely due to the Regional results. Hardman,
however, is one of just three in the field to have been under 52 seconds twice. 5 have been under
52. 11 have been under 53.

800 M	1. Will Shaffer	Scott
	2. Clint Hardman	Ritchie
	3. Corey Shetler	Berkeley Springs
	4. Jacob Doss Sherman
	5. James Haught	Magnolia
	6. Isaac Cales Independence
Shaffer is the only one to have gone under 2:02. He ran under 2:01 twice in March. His best 800 since
April 14th, though, is his Regional 2:04. Hardman has a 2:02 and a 2:03 and three runs under 2:05.
Shetler also has three runs under 2:05. Doss has a pair under 2:05. Only four have been under 2:05.
Only 6 have been under 2:06.

1600 M	1. Will Shaffer	Scott
	2. Corey Shetler	Berkeley Springs
	3. Jacob Doss Sherman
	4. Alec Hinerman	Magnolia
	5. Trae Miller Frankfort
	6. Cameron Davis	Westside
Shaffer shouldn't have any trouble here. He has four runs that are 8 seconds better than anyone else's
best, and he has a pair of 4:26 runs to his name. Things get very, very tight after that. The next
five guys are within 0.72 seconds of each other. Shetler gets the nod because of better speed. Doss
is the only one other than Shaffer to have amore than one run under 4:40. Hinerman has practically
an identical series to Shetler. Miller has the 2nd best top time in the group, but his 2nd best time
is just 4:46. Davis has a pair of 4:40 runs. No one else has been under 4:43. 11 total have been
4:46 or better.

3200 M	1. Will Shaffer	Scott
	2. Johnny Hogue	Ritchie
	3. Alec Hinerman	Magnolia
	4. Cameron Davis	Westside
	5. Bill Feeney Magnolia
	6. Brandon Perdue	Sherman
Shaffer again shouldn't struggle much. His # 3 time is 10 seconds ahead of anyone else's best. His
9:38 is 18 seconds ahead of the second best time. Hogue and Hinerman are the only others to have gone
under 10:00. Both did it just once and both happened in mid-April or earlier. However, no one else
has been under 10:10. There are 7 guys between 10:10 and 10:17, so the race could get pretty
interesting. Six have been under 10:15. 10 have been under 10:17.

110 HH	1. Nathan Bernarde	Grafton
	2. Dylan Trout Greenbrier West
	3. Colby Ennis Greenbrier West
	4. Cody Marcum Point Pleasant
	5. Jayden Allender	Ritchie
	6. Josh Crites Poca
Trout has the best top time. Bernarde has the best series. Bernarde has more runs under 16 seconds.
It should be tight. Those two are the only ones to have gone under 16 seconds. Ennis and Marcum
are the only others to have been under 16.50. Ennis has five runs under 17 to Marcum's three, although
Marcum has two at 16.50 or better to Ennis' one. 8 have been under 17 seconds with 7 having gone
under 16.65.

300 IH	1. Jessie Hilvers	Ritchie
	2. Nathan Bernarde	Grafton
	3. Dylan Trout Greenbrier West
	4. Joe Collins Webster
	5. Ryan Roseberry	Shady Spring
	6. Dylan Cottrell	Roane
Hilvers is the only one to have gone under 41 seoncds, and he has four runs of 41.10 or better.
Bernarde has two runs of 41.1 or better and five under 42. Trough has a pair under 41.4 and three
under 42. 6 have been under 42. 9 have been under 43.

4x100 M	1. Point Pleasant
	2. Shady Spring
	3. Ritchie
	4. Roane
	5. Oak Glen
	6. Berkeley Springs
Point Pleasant could add Zach Canterbury to their lineup, but I think they're the favorite without him.
They have a series that's slightly better than Shady Spring's across the board, but not by much.
Ritchie has four runs under 46 seconds. Roane could add Dylan Cottrell to their lineup, and that should
give them a little more juice. Berekely has a pair of runs under 46 seconds and could easily move up.
I'm not sure that happened with their Regional run, but it leaves them in the 1st heat.

4x200 M	1. Point Pleasant
	2. Magnolia
	3. Shady Spring
	4. Ritchie
	5. Keyser
	6. Berkeley Springs
Point Pleasant should be the favorite hear as well. I'm assuming that Magnolia will leave Rogalski here
and not move him to the 4x400. That should leave them in the 2nd spot. Shady has a pair of runs under
1:35. Ritchie has four under 1:35.4. 8 have been under 1:36.

4x400 M	1. Ritchie
	2. Point Pleasant
	3. Berkeley Springs
	4. Oak Hill
	5. Magnolia
	6. Keyser
I have Ritchie with the capability of going 3:32, and I don't have anyone else there unless Magnolia
moves Rogalski here from the 4x200. Point Pleasant should hold the 2nd spot. Berkeley Springs could
add Corey Shetler to their lineup, and I think that could get them up to 3rd. Six teams have gone
under 3:37.5. No one else has been under 3:40. Roane could add Dylan Cottrell to this unit and might
figure into the mix, but I think they place him elsewhere.

4x800 M 1. Frankfort
	2. Ritchie
	3. Magnolia
	4. Keyser
	5. Philip Barbour
	6. Oak Glen
I have Frankfort and Ritchie with nearly identical potential, but since Frankfort turned an 8:27 four
weeks ago, I gave them the nod. Ritchie likely adds Jessie Hilvers to this unit to battle for the top
spot. I have Magnolia and Keyser as the only other ones likely to go under 8:40. Only six in the
field have been under 8:50.

Shuttle	1. Point Pleasant
	2. Greenbrier West
	3. Poca
	4. Herbert Hoover
	5. Ritchie
	6. Tyler Consolidated
Point Pleasant and Greenbrier West are the only ones to have gone under 1:02. Their top times are at
least 1.7 seconds ahead of the third place team. Poca and Hoover will battle in the 3rd of 4 heats to
help each other out. I think Ritchie adds Hilvers to this unit as well and will have a real shot at
3rd. 3rd through 8th are separated by just 0.62 seconds.

H Jump	1. Ronnie Carroll	Braxton
	2. Stephen Rogalski	Magnolia
	3. Luther Stoots	Webster
	4. Mike Twigg Berkeley Springs
	5. Bryan Bradford	Poca
	6. James Flint Keyser
Carroll has the only 6'4 jump in the field, but that came in March. He does have four jumps of at
least 6'2 to his credit. Rogalski joined him as the only jumpers to get 6'2 at the Regional. Stoots
joins Carroll as the only ones with more than one 6'2, but both his 6'2 jumps came in March. 8 have
cleared 6'0. Just five have done it more than once. Just three have done it three times.

P Vault	1. Hunter Lemasters	Tyler Consolidated
	2. Matt Arrowood	Berkeley Springs
	3. Paige Haught	Ritchie
	4. Cody Hall Ritchie
	5. Kyle Raines Roane
	6. Bryson Dennison	Braxton
Lemasters has more 13'0 vaults than anyone else, and his bester 4 vaults have come in the last four
meets. Arrowood was the only one to get 13'6 at the Regional. He and Lemasters have the only 13'0
vaults in the field. Haught has three 13'0 vaults. Only he and Lemasters can claim that. Hall has
a pair of 13'0 vaults. Only 6 have been higher than 10'6.

L Jump	1. Brandon Franklin	Liberty Harrison
	2. Austin Wilkenson	Sherman
	3. Kage Rohde Magnolia
	4. Josh Weltner	Oak Glen
	5. Tim Weekley Magnolia
	6. Easton Hutton	Braxton
Franklin has five leaps better than anyone else's best. His top jump is almost a foot and a half ahead
of the field. Wilkenson is the only other one with five 20' jumps. Rohde have four 20' jumps and is
the only other jumper than Franklin to top 21'. 7 in the field have hit 20'.

Shot	1. Mike Green Independence
	2. Houstin Syvertson	Shady Spring
	3. Trey Livingston	Point Pleasant
	4. Colton Cogar	Webster
	5. Frank Wright	Lincoln
	6. Corey McClure	Poca
Green has the only 50' toss in the field. He has a pair over 49' while no one else has hit that mark.
Syvertson has a pair of throws over 48' and five of at least 47', which no one else can claim.
Livingston has three throws over 45'. Four have thrown 47'. No one else has hit 46'. 7 have
hit 45'.

Discus	1. Ethan Delekta	Oak Glen
	2. Frank Wright	Lincoln
	3. Trey Livingston	Point Pleasant
	4. Christian Buckley	Poca
	5. Jordan Lacy Braxton
	6. Jacob Hickman	Poca
Delekta has a best throw that is nearly 14' better than anyone else. His # 5 throw is nearly 7' ahead
of anyone else's best. Wright has the only other 150' throw in the field. Livingston is the only one
other than Delekta with four 140' throws. 5 have hit 140', and all five have done it at least twice.
