Individual Predictions

100 M	1. Kirsten Mullins	Charleston Catholic
	2. Kristen Saggio	Madonna
	3. Shalanda Hall	Clay-Battelle
	4. Katie Jones Williamstown
	5. Amanda Sellers	Paden City
	6. Brittany Wilson	St. Marys
Mullins has three runs faster than Saggio's best. Saggio has the next best top time, but
Hall actually has a better series. Hall has apparently been battling migraines all spring,
so her health is somewhat in question. Jones has been improving late in the season and
has easily the next best series. In addition, her top 4 times have come in the last two
meets. Sellers has a better series than Wilson, but Wilson has a better top time and could
take the spot. Charleston Catholic's Madeline Brumfield and Williamson's Erica Hatfield
lead a pack hoping to slip in for a spot.

200 M	1. Kirsten Mullins	Charleston Catholic
	2. Adrienne Nottingham	Pocahontas
	3. Kristen Saggio	Madonna
	4. Katie Jones Williamstown
	5. Kayla Mitchell	Doddridge
	6. Nicole Barlow	Pocahontas
Mullins has a pair of runs under 27, and her top two times are better than anyone else's
best. She has far and away the best series. Notthingham has the next best series of times
and ran away with the Gazette Relays. Saggio has the 2nd best top time but her series is
not nearly as strong as Nottingham's. Jones that the next best series and was very strong
at her Regional. Mitchell has the next best series but has yet to go under 28 seconds.
Barlow has been under 28 once but her series is actually well below Mitchell's and Mitchell
beat her at the Regional Meet. St. Marys' Brittany Wilson will try to fight her way into
the places as will Williamson's Erica Hatfield and Wilson's teammate Lydia Powell.

400 M	1. Adrienne Notthingham	Pocahontas
	2. Lauren Bauer Wheeling Central
	3. Nicole Barlow Pocahontas
	4. Kim Abcouwer Charleston Catholic
	5. Jennifer McFarland St. Marys
	6. Kylee Boring Doddridge
Nottingham's best time is over a second better than anyone else's and her top two times
are better than anyone else's best. She's a bit inconsistent, though as she has a couple
1:06's in her series. Bauer has the 2nd best top time and is the only other runner to have
been under 1:03. Barlow has a slightly better best time than Abcouwer and a better overall
series. Abcouwer has a better top time and a better 2nd time than McFarland. McFarland
has a pair of runs under 1:03.7 Since McFarland is also in the 1600, there is the possibility
that she will scratch from this event. Boring actually has the best series of the group but
has been battling a quad injury over the 2nd half of the season. Doddridge's Megan Kelley
(placed 3rd last year), South Harrison's Kayla Wright, Williamstown's Kaitlyn Nichols, and
Richwood's Laura Spencer (placed last year) will try to sneak into the places.

800 M	1. Lauren Bauer	Wheeling Central
	2. Stephanie Caruso	Wheeling Central
	3. Kim Abcouwer	Charleston Catholic
	4. Jennifer McFarland	St. Marys
	5. Brandi Bowen	Doddridge
	6. Kylee Boring	Doddridge
Bauer has four runs better than anyone else's best. Caruso is the only other runner in the
group to have gone under 2:30. Abcouwer has the next best top time and the next best second
time. She also placed 2nd in the event last year. McFarland actually has a better series
than Abcouwer and could move up. Bowen has been improving late in the season and has run her
top 2 times in her last two meets. Boring has a better series than Bowen but as mentioned
earlier has been battling the quad injury. Charleston Catholic's Sarah Whitsberger, St.
Marys' Katie Taylor, and Doddridge's Brittney Powell will try snag a place away from the
favorites.

1600 M	1. Stephanie Caruso	Wheeling Central
	2. Brandi Bowen	Doddridge
	3. Jennifer McFarland	St. Marys
	4. Emily Coffman	Doddridge
	5. Naomi Hyde Doddridge
	6. Carrie Kitzmiller	Union
Caruso is 18 seconds ahead of the field. She may make a run at the meet record. She has
5 times better than anyone else's best time. Bowen's top time is nearly 9 seconds ahead of
the next best time, and she has easily the next best series. McFarland has a pair of times
that are 4 seconds ahead of anyone else's best. Coffman has the next best time by a couple
seconds and has run her best times in the last two meets, seemingly over a hamstring injury
that nagged her through the middle of the season. Hyde has a slightly better best time
and a far better series than Kitzmiller, and she placed in the event last year. Kitzmiller
did beat Hyde at the Regional Meet though. Also looking to get in will be St. Marys'
Micalyn Miller (placed last year) and Williamstown's Nici Rea.

3200 M	1. Stephanie Caruso	Wheeling Central
	2. Brandi Bowen	Doddridge
	3. Naomi Hyde Doddridge
	4. Courtney Mullenax	Tucker
	5. Nici Rea Williamstown
	6. Carrie Kitzmiller	Union
Caruso's top time is over 50 seconds ahead of everyone else. As in the 1600, she could make
a run at the meet record. Bowen and Hyde each have four times better than anyone else's
best. Bowen has edged Hyde in each of the meets they've run together. Mullenax has the
next best time, and her second best time is also better than Rea's. Rea does have a better
overall series, though, and could take the spot. Kitzmiller has easily the next best series
and a top time that is 12 seconds ahead of the remaining field. Charleston Catholic's Nora
Sheridan is the most likely of the rest of the field to take one of the places.

100 HH	1. Olivia Lambert	South Harrison
	2. Jordan Beckett	Wirt
	3. Kayla Maxwell	Gilmer
	4. Katherine Maurer	Madonna
	5. Brianna Lowther	Gilmer
	6. Ciara Riggleman	Tygarts Valley
Lambert has the best top time by 0.4 seconds and the best overall series. Beckett's two
best runs of the season came that the Regional Meet. Her 3rd and 4th best runs came at
the Conference meet. She's hitting things about right it seems. Maxwell actually has
a better top time and a better overall series than Beckett and could take the spot. Maurer
has easily the next best series. Lowther has a better series than Riggleman, but Riggleman
has the better top time. The most likely to slip in for a spot is Doddridge's Hannah Hutson.

300 LH	1. Amanda Sellers	Paden City
	2. Kim Abcouwer	Charleston Catholic
	3. Olivia Lambert	South Harrison
	4. Kayla Wright	South Harrison
	5. Brianna Lowther	Gilmer
	6. Jordan Beckett	Wirt
Sellers has the best top time and is one of two in the field with multiple runs under 50
seconds (3). Abcouwer was very strong at the Gazette Relays and has the 3rd best top time.
Lambert is the other runner with multiple runs under 50 seconds (2). She has a better series
than Abcouwer, but not as good a top time. Wright actually has the 2nd best top time with
her strong Regional run, but her series isn't as strong as the other two. Lowther has the
next best top time and the next best series, and she placed last year. Beckett gets the nod
over Doddridge's Hannah Hutson for the final spot based on a stronger overall series. Hutson
could take the spot as her top time is 0.7 better than Beckett's. Richwood's Laura Spencer
will also be a threat.

4x100 M	1. Madonna
	2. Williamstown
	3. Charleston Catholic
	4. Doddridge
	5. Gilmer
	6. South Harrison
Madonna has the top time by about 0.3 seconds. They're certainly not the overwhelming
favorite they were last year, but the favorite nonetheless. Williamstown's series is pretty
close to Madonna's, and they could pull the upset. Charleston Catholic will be in that mix
as well and could take the event. The top three are about 0.7 seconds ahead of the rest of
the field. Doddridge appears to be fairly solidly in 4th. Gilmer looks like they can add
Kayla Maxwell into the mix for their relay, and that should be enough to move them into 5th.
If they add Maxwell and Brianna Lowther, they could move up a spot or two. South Harrison
is just slightly ahead of Wheeling Central in each of their top 3 times, so I'm giving them
the edge. Wheeling Central could take the spot though. Moorefield could also be in the mix.

4x200 M	1. Pocahontas
	2. Charleston Catholic
	3. Doddridge
	4. Madonna
	5. Gilmer
	6. Williamstown
Pocahontas has a pair of times better than anyone else's best and their top performance is
over a second faster than anyone else. Charleston Catholic and Doddridge have identical top
times. Doddridge has a better overall series, but Charleston Catholic has Kirsten Mullins
to close for them. Madonna is pretty solidly in fourth. They're over a second behind 3rd
and over a second ahead of 5th. Gilmer looks to be slightly ahead of Williamstown and
Wheeling Central for 5th. If St. Marys adds Brittany Wilson to their unit, they could
contend for a place as well.

4x400 M	1. Doddridge
	2. Pocahontas
	3. Charleston Catholic
	4. St. Marys
	5. Williamstown
	6. Gilmer
Doddridge has the top time of the group and ran that time without Kylee Boring. Pocahontas
has the potential to beat the Doddridge group with the 1-2 punch of Nottingham and Barlow
in the race. Charleston Catholic looks to be a pretty solid 3rd. If they move Abcouwer onto
this unit, they could contend with the top 2 teams. St. Marys has the 4th best time and could
also string together a unit that could be in the hunt with the top 2. Williamstown is right
on the heels of St. Marys and could definitely move up if St. Marys and Charleston Catholic
elect not to make changes. Gilmer will try to score from the first heat. If the bring
Brianna Lowther onto their group, it certainly makes them more solid for this spot and
possibly even higher. Clay-Battelle, Moorefield, and Wheeling Central will try to take spots.

4x800 M	1. Doddridge
	2. Wheeling Central
	3. St. Marys
	4. Charleston Catholic
	5. Williamstown
	6. Tygarts Valley
Doddridge comes in as a slight favorite. It really looks like both teams can conceivably go
under 10:10. If either has much of an off day, St. Marys will be waiting to pounce. It looks
like they could go in the low 10:20's, which is actually faster than Wheeling Central's top
time. If Charleston Catholic moves Kim Abcouwer onto the 4x800 rather than the 4x400, they
could also possibly go in the low-to-mid 10:20's. Without her, they'll be battling
Williamstown for 4th. They'd still be the favorite in that matchup, but it would be fairly
close. Tygarts Valley has the next best top time by 19 seconds and thas three runs better
than anyone else's best. Gilmer and Tucker (if they move Courtney Mullenax onto the unit)
would be the most likely teams to steal a place.

Shuttle	1. Gilmer
	2. Tygarts Valley
	3. Doddridge
	4. Paden City
	5. Williamstown
	6. Wirt
Gilmer's top time is over a 1.5 seconds ahead of everyone else, and they have four runs
faster than anyone else's best. Tygarts Valley has the next best top time. Doddridge
actually has a better series than Tygarts Valley, but Tygarts Valley has beaten them in the
last two head-to-head meetings. Paden City's top two times are pretty much on par with
Tygarts Valley and Doddridge, so they could move up. Williamstown has a pair of runs under
1:13. Wirt finished right on the heels of Williamstown at the Regional Meet and could also
move up. Madonna and South Harrison will be hoping to slip in.

L Jump	1. Kayla Maxwell	Gilmer
	2. Katie Jones Williamstown
	3. Marissa Haddix	South Harrison
	4. Lindsay Hern	Gilmer
	5. Jordan Beckett	Wirt
	6. Nikki Cutright	Tygarts Valley
Maxwell has easily the best series of jumps in the group with 4 leaps over 15'. Jones is
the only other jumper with at least three 15' jumps. Haddix has a pair of jumps over 15' and
placed 2nd last year. Hern actually has the top jump (and the only 16' jump) of everyone
in the competition. Her series isn't as strong, but her two best jumps have been in her last
two meets. Beckett has a better overall series than Hern and could move up. Cutright has
the next best series in the bunch. Pocahontas' Michelle Holstine (placed last year), Valley
Wetzel's Lesta Kocher, and Moorefield's Joelle Allen will contend for places.

H Jump	1. Ciara Riggleman	Tygarts Valley
	2. Beth Ann Moyers	Gilmer
	3. Erica Smith Doddridge
	4. Marissa Proctor	Valley Fayette
	5. Christine Shinaberry Pocahontas
	6. Erin Music East Hardy
No one in the field has cleared 5'0. Riggleman is the only jumper with more than one 4'10
jump and she has 3 of them, including the Regional. Moyers is the only other jumper to have
cleared 4'10, and has at least four 4'8 jumps to go along with it. Smith has a 4'8 jump
and four 4'6 jumps, and the 4'8 jump occurred at the Regional. Proctor also has a 4'8
jump, which did occur at the Gazette Relays, but her Regional effort was only 4'2. Shinaberry
has an entire series of 4'6 jumps. Music has three jumps of 4'6. There are seven other
jumpers in the field who have cleared 4'6 at least once. Number of misses will definitely
be a major factor in the placings in this meet.

Shot	1. Alicia Cayton	Doddridge
	2. Cindy Hillberry	Mount Hope
	3. Amanda Kerns	St. Marys
	4. Tiffany Sigler	St. Marys
	5. Mary Beth Peden	Charleston Catholic
	6. Kathleen McNeal	Tygarts Valley
Cayton has the best throw by over a foot and a half, and she has four throws better than
anyone else's best. Hillberry is the only other thrower to have eclipsed 38'. Kerns has
a better series than Hillberry and could take that spot. Sigler has the next best series,
not far ahead of Peden across the board. Peden is well ahead of the remainder of the field
in both top throw and series. McNeal has four throws better than the next person's best.
Charleston Catholic's Elizabeth Davis is the most likely to come in and take a spot.

Discus	1. Mary Beth Peden	Charleston Catholic
	2. Amanda Kerns	St. Marys
	3. Cindy Hillberry	Mount Hope
	4. Alicia Cayton	Doddridge
	5. Ali Flowers Williamstown
	6. Sarah Wine Doddridge
Peden has the best trhow and by far the best series. Kerns, however, did have a better
Regional throw by over 5'. Hillberry's series is very similar to Kerns. Any of these three
could take the event. Cayton is the only other thrower to have been past 100', and while
she's 6' behind the top 3, she's also 6' ahead of the rest of the field and has three throws
better than anyone else's best. Flowers has a best throw nearly 4' ahead of the next best
competitor. Wine does have a better series than Flowers, with 5 throws over 90'. Charleston
Catholic's Elizabeth Davis and Doddridge's Brooke Powell are the only other throwers to have
been past 90'.

P Vault	1. Kate Billips	Williamstown
	2. Madison Postlewaite	Williamstown
	3. Emily Lewis Buffalo
	4. KayCee Hill Doddridge
	5. Jordan Coffman	Doddridge
	6. Nici Rea Williamstown
Billups has a 9'6 and a 9'3 jump to her credit along with a couple 9's. Postlewaite has a
9'6 and four 9's. Lewis has an 8'9 and a couple 8'6's. Hill has three 8' vaults, and
Coffman has two. Rea's top vault is 7'. If anyone fails to clear a height, it could open
the door for Doddridge's Stephanie Myer.
