Individual Predictions
100 M	1. Ayreal Thompson	Weir
	2. Jordann Mitchell	Oak Glen
	3. Mallory Nowlin	Point Pleasant
	4. Kelsey Spang	Magnolia
	5. Anitra Kelly	Logan
	6. Sarah Hudak Bluefield
Thompson is the defending champion and has the top time, but she's been a little banged up
and is still coming back from that. I think another week gets her back in front. Mitchell
has been outstanding and could very well take the title. Nowlin is repeating last year's
late season surge. Spang has the next best series of times. Kelly has a strong series of
times and placed last year. Hudak has a better top time than Spang or Kelly but hasn't done
as much to back that time up as the others. Courtney Zirkle and Crystal Moreland will be
looking to slide inside the top 6.

200 M	1. Emily Stewart	Winfield
	2. Sharron Gianessi	Weir
	3. Ayreal Thompson	Weir
	4. Brianna Clark	Tyler Consolidated
	5. Cassie Bunner	Ritchie
	6. Sarah Hudak Bluefield
Stewart and Gianessi should be quite a fight. Gianessi has the better top time. Stewart has
a slightly better series. Thompson is the defending champion and may still be a threat to
win. Clark is one of only three girls to have been under 27. Bunner has a solid series.
Hudak has a faster top time than Bunner, but her seires isn't as strong. Diane Dayton
and Taneshia Little will be trying to fight their way into the top 6.

400 M	1. Jordann Mitchell	Oak Glen
	2. Emily Stewart	Winfield
	3. Lisa Day Winfield
	4. Brianna Clark	Tyler Consolidated
	5. Sarah Hudak Bluefield
	6. Brooke Day Frankfort
Mitchell has been very strong all season and was tremendously impressive at her Regional Meet.
She's been under 60 seconds four times. Stewart has three runs under 60, but her top time
is over a second slower than Mitchell's. Day doesn't have quite as good a series as Clark,
but she does have a better top time and was the 2nd place finisher a year ago. Clark has
the next best top time and the next best series. Hudak has two very good runs under her
belt. Day gets the nod over cassie Bunner based upon her ability to finish in the top 6
a year ago.

800 M	1. Meghan Mock Berkeley Springs
	2. Lisa Day Winfield
	3. Carly Gregson	Weir
	4. Aliy Bossert	Roane
	5. Rachel Buser	Berkeley Springs
	6. Katelyn Hunt	Grafton
This one should be interesting. Mock only has the 4th best time of the bunch, but it's the
only time she's run the event this year. I also recall her running a 2:22 leg in the 4x800
last season. This is one of those gut-feeling calls. I just think she's that kind of
athlete. Day finished 2nd a year ago and has the top time coming in and the best series of
times. Gregson finally opened up at the regional meet. She was 3rd a year ago. Bossert
has the 2nd best series of times, but may not have the raw speed of the front three. Buser
won the event a year ago, so she has to be considered a threat. HUnt is the only other
runner with multiple runs under 2:30. Annash Cashdollar, Darby Mullen, Allison Cox, and
Jessice Roberts have been under 2:30 as well.

1600 M	1. Rachel Buser	Berkeley Springs
	2. Darby Mullen	Logan
	3. Jamie Cokeley	Ritchie
	4. Breanna Henry	Berkeley Springs
	5. Katelyn Hunt	Grafton
	6. Sarah Rosier	Grafton
Buser has the best time and the best series and is the defending champion. Mullen is the
only one who has times even close to her. There is a 14 second gap between Mullen's best
time and the rest of the field. After the front two, there should be a battle between
eight girls for the other four spots. Jamie Cokeley has the next best time and the next
best series of times. Henry is just barely off Cokeley's pace. Hunt and Rosier have been
within about a second of Cokeley's top time. Also looking to be factors are Megan Truelove,
Holly Rooper, Brittany Sellers, and Kasey Jividen.

3200 M	1. Rachel Buser	Berkeley Springs
	2. Darby Mullen	Logan
	3. Megan Truelove	Winfield
	4. Jamie Cokeley Ritchie
	5. Kari Mundey Berkeley Springs
	6. Brittany Sellers	Ritchie
Buser is far and away the favorite here, with a top time 29 seconds better than anyone else.
Mullen's 11:47 best is the only other sub-12 performance in the group. Truelove has a 12:00
top time and a slightly better series than Cokeley. Mundey has come on strong late in the
season and could move up. Sellers has been improving bit-by-bit as the season rolls along,
and I'm giving her the edge over Kasey Jividen and Jessica Roberts for the 6th spot. Don't
count out Sarah Rosier or Adrienne Moretz either.

100 HH	1. Micah Osborne	Winfield
	2. Brooke Day Frankfort
	3. Jenna Howell	Lincoln
	4. Ashley Carson	Tyler Consolidated
	5. Shannon Reid	Tyler Consolidated
	6. Morgan Bryant	Independence
This should be one of the more fun races of the weekend. Each of the top three has been
under 16 seconds four times. Osborne has the best electronic times of the group. Day
actually has the best series, but two of her three best times are converted hand times.
Howell's last three meets have produced her top three times. Carson doesn't have the next
best time, but she easily has the next best series. Reid gets a slight nod over Bryant
due to better electronic times. Ashley Frankland is the next most likely placer.

300 LH	1. Meghan Mock Berkeley Springs
	2. Micah Osborne	Winfield
	3. Brooke Day Frankfort
	4. Ashli Knotts	Roane
	5. Morganne Bennett	Winfield
	6. Amanda Howell	Magnolia
Mock was extremely impressive at the Regional Meet with her 46.10. Osborne actually has a
better series of times than Mock. Day is the only one in the group to have been under
47 seconds twice, but Mock beat her by nearly a full second at the regional. KNotts is the
only other runner with more than one sub-50 run, and she has at least five of them, with
two of them being under 49. Bennett is the only other competitor to have been under 50
seconds. Amanda Howellhas the next best overall series, even though her top times is only
9th on the list. Shanna Akers, Johnna Drelick, Morgan Bryand, and Madison Kelley hope
to fit into the mix.

4x100 M	1. Weir
	2. Tyler Consolidated
	3. Ritchie
	4. Magnolia
	5. Lincoln
	6. Winfield
Weir has the fastest time of the group and they did it at the Regional Meet. Tyler
Consolidated is the only other team to have been under 52 seconds. Ritchie up to third
is a bit of a surprise. I'm betting that Cassie Bunner finds her way onto this relay.
Magnolia has the next best series. Lincoln has the 3rd best top time and could move up.
Winfield has the 5th best top time, and they always put together good relays, so they
could move up as well.

4x200 M	1. Weir
	2. Oak Glen
	3. Winfield
	4. Ritchie
	5. Tyler Consolidated
	6. Lincoln
This one pretty much goes in order of their best times. Weir has been about a second faster
than anyone else. Oak Glen is the only other team to have been under 1:49. Winfield is
the only other team to have been under 1:50. Ritchie almost cracked the 1:50 barrier at the
regional and are over a second ahead of the next team. Tyler Consolidated has been
consistently fast all season long. Lincoln appears to have a small edge over Frankfort.

4x400 M	1. Oak Glen
	2. Weir
	3. Winfield
	4. Frankfort
	5. Magnolia
	6. Grafton
Oak Glen and Weir have both been faster than the existing State Record. With these two teams
pushing each other, it will almost assuredly go down. Oak Glen has been over 1.5 seconds
faster than Weir, but I'm betting it will be closer than that. I believe that Winfield can
run under 4:10 as well. I think Frankfort may be able to go 4:15 if they have to. Magnolia
will probably make them have to. Grafton has a better top time than Frankfort, so they could
move up as well. Roane could be a factor as well.

4x800 M	1. Winfield
	2. Berkeley Springs
	3. Weir
	4. Roane
	5. Oak Glen
	6. Frankfort
Winfield could go under 10:00. Berkeley Springs can probably give them all they can handle.
I think Weir can hit in the 10:10 range. Roane has a better top time their Weir and could
move up. Oak Glen has a little more upward potential than Frankfort. Ritchie and Grafton
could very well move into the placings as well.

Shuttle	1. Tyler Consolidated
	2. Lincoln
	3. Weir
	4. Winfield
	5. Magnolia
	6. Independence
Tyler Consolidated is the only team to have run better than 1:07, and they've done it twice,
including a 1:05.9 at the OVAC Meet. Lincoln has four runs between 1:07.01 and 1:07.32. They
are very consistent, and if Tyler bobbles in the least, Lincoln will take it. Weir also has
four runs under 1:08. Winfield has the next best time and the next best series. Magnolia
is the only other team to have been under 1:09. Independence has four runs under 1:12, but
Point Pleasant will give them all they can handle.

L Jump	1. Meghan Mock Berkeley Springs
	2. Morgan Bryant	Independence
	3. Jenna Howell	Lincoln
	4. Marteny Jacobs	Philip Barbour
	5. Stephanie Mitchell	Roane
	6. Jordan Meadows	Poca
Mock only has one performance in the event...and it was a foot further than anyone else has
jumped. And supposedly she was well behind the toe-board when she took off. Bryant has
a pair of 16' jumps. Howell has four jumps of at least 15'6. Jacobs has one massive 16'4
leap, but no other performances further than 15'1. Mitchelle hasa 15'10.25 but nothing
else further than 15'1. Meadows has a pair of 15' jumps, while Skyler Wampler has three
of them, but Meadows managed to finish 2nd in the event last year.

H Jump	1. Meghan Mock Berkeley Springs
	2. Sydney Cummings	Sissonville
	3. Morgan Cottrell	Roane
	4. Micah Bell Magnolia
	5. Darby Mullen	Logan
	6. Leah Dankovchik	Weir
Look...it's Meghan Mock again. She has a 5'7 jump and three 5'4 jumps. Cummings has a pair
of 5'4 jumps, including one at her regional. Cottrell has a 5'6 and three 5'2's. Bell and
Mullen both have a 5'2 and a pair of 5'0 jumps. Dankovchik gets the nod over Marteny Jacobs
and Mariah Miller, who have also cleared 5'0. Dankovchik and Jacobs got their 5'0 jumps
at their regional meets.

Shot	1. Lindsay Rumburg	PikeView
	2. Bridgett Harper	Winfield
	3. Megan Ratcliff	Tyler Consolidated
	4. Ally Riley Lincoln
	5. Chelsea Harman	Keyser
	6. Betsy Nelson	Ritchie
Rumber has at least five throws over 41'. No one else has any. Her top throw of the season,
if she can duplicate it would set a new State Record. Harper has a pair of 39' throws and
a 38' throw. Ratcliff is the only other thrower than has surpassed 37'. Riley is the only
other thrower to go beyond 36' or to have multiple 35' throws. Harman has easily the next
best sereis, and is two feet ahead of the remainder of the field. Kylei Emfinger looks to
play the role of spoiler for somebody.

Discus	1. Megan Ratcliff	Tyler Consolidated
	2. Tiffany Clark	Oak Glen
	3. Betsy Nelson	Ritchie
	4. Jamie Woofter	Oak Glen
	5. Kara Bachman	Webster
	6. Bridgette Harper	Winfield
Ratcliff has at least five throws over 116' and the only 120' toss of the bunch. Clark has
a 119, a 110, and a 109. Nelson has the next best series. Woofter has thrown further than
Nelson, but hasn't done so as consistently. Bachman and Harper are very similar and could
go either way. Austin Hazlett and Lindsay Rumburg have also been over 100' this season.

P Vault	1. Kelli Sealover	Ritchie
	2. Amanda Howell	Magnolia
	3. Ashli Knotts	Roane
	4. Shannon Reid	Tyler Consolidated
	5. Connie Beckett	Winfield
	6. Brittany McIntosh	Braxton
Sealover has the only 10' vault in the field. In fact, she has at least five vault of 9' or
better, while no one else has gone higher than 8'. Howell and Knotts each have four 8'
vaults, but Howell did it at the regional and KNotts did not. Reid has three 7'6 vaults.
Beckett and McIntosh each have three 7' vaults. Jessica Schwaner has also gone over 7'.
