Cabell Midland has a way of getting their people in the right place
at the right time.  They are the favorites in the meet and have
several opportunities to gain points from low picked placers.  Their
relays must perform.  Parkersburg South could pick up some points
in the 800 and the 4x800 to close the gap.  Jefferson gets their
points in gobs and is more likely to drop points than gain enough
to challenge Midland.  Preston could climb significantly higher if
Seth Wheeler has a great weekend.  Martinsburg and Bridgeport could
pick up a few points here and there, but not enough to challenge for
the win.

Preston and Jefferson both get their points in chunks.  A slight
falloff here or there and here comes Capital, who stands to gain
points with a good weekend from Crystal Dudley and Elizabeth Yeager.
No one else realistically has a chance to take the title.

It would take a lot for Winfield to lose the title.  Their depth is
simply superior to everyone else out there.  They can afford a few
mistakes.  Ritchie could easily surpass Ravenswood for the 2nd spot
if a couple things go their way and something goes wrong for Ravenswood.

Winfield would likely be a strong favorite in the AAA division.  It is
highly unlikely that anyone will be able to challenge them.  They are
strong in each and every event.  We've got them scoring in 17 of 18
events.  Berkeley Springs and Weir should have a nice battle for
second.  Magnolia and Tyler Consolidated could climb higher if they
have strong weekends and either team above them falters.

Wheeling Central looks to have things pretty well in hand.  The battle
for second should be outstanding.  Each team has places they can pick
up a chunk of extra points but could also drop several points if thing
do not go according to plan.  Richwood will be waiting in the wings
to try to snag a top 4.

Doddridge will rely on its field events to lead them to victory.  Wheeling
Central qualified pretty much everyone and will try to make their move
with volume.  They are very strong in the relays, and if Doddridge
falters at all, this could be the year Central snags the title.
Charleston Catholic is very solid on the track and can snare a few
field event points.
