Here is some more information about the upcoming (12/5) Clinic/Meeting 
sent to us from David Evans.  If you are not currently a member of the

Coaches

	I have talked to some people regarding the clinic and 
whether or not to charge a registration fee. After a lot of 
thought, the following has been decided regarding this clinic.

	A registration fee of $30 will be charged.  The $30 
will be to pay the yearly dues of $10 and the extra $20 will be
used to help defray some of the costs of the speakers and the 
remainder will be used to help pay for the warm-ups purchased 
for the Mid-East Cross Country Team members.  (These warm-ups 
belong to the association and will be used from year to year.)

	I realize that this is very short notice for this clinic 
and meeting and that it will not answer all of our needs.  But 
this will be a start!  We need as many coaches to attend this 
clinic and meeting as we can possibly get there.  This is just 
a beginning!  With your help, and that means your presence at 
this meeting, we can make some major strides for cross country
and hopefully track in the next year or two.  We have lots of 
ideas from coaches and people who are college coaches or are 
very interested in cross-country and track.  As I have said in 
previous e-mails, there are several programs which I would like 
to see started this next year.  One of them is a quarterly 
newsletter to inform coaches about what is going on in both 
cross-country and track.  YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!  ALL OF 
YOU (those that are receiving this e-mail) AND THOSE COACHES 
THAT YOU KNOW IN YOUR CONFERENCE OR REGION NEED TO ATTEND AND 
HELP SET THE GUIDELINES, GOALS AND POLICIES OF THIS ORGANIZATION.  
JUST LIKE "UNCLE SAM", "WE NEED YOU!!!!"  

	Please set aside time for this clinic and meeting on 
December 5--short notice yes, but that does not make it any 
less important.  With your help, plans can be started for next 
years clinic at this meeting.  

	Registration at 8:30 a.m. and clinic will start at 9:00 a.m.  
Speakers and topics are not set yet, but will be taken care of 
before the weekend.  I will try to get it posted on the RUN WV 
SITE early in the week.  Please check there for the information.  
I will try to e-mail anyone that I have their e-mail address.  
Next year, if all goes well,we should have this taken care of 
at least two months ahead of the clinic.
