Editor's Poll

Editor's Commentary:
In the Editor's Poll below, you will notice that there are teams ranked in the top 5 in some areas that are not participating in the state meet. Unfortunately, due to the stacked talent in some regions, some of the state's best teams do not get to participate in the meet. This is most prevalent in the Girls A-AA event. Three of the state's top 6 teams will not be at this year's event. The state meet should be home to the best teams in the state regardless of the region they are from. Here's one vote for at least 2 at large bids to each division of the state meet.
You may also now notice that the teams in the editor's poll below may not mesh with how they finished in the State Meet. We still believe that some teams are better than others even if they had a day at the State Meet that perhaps wasn't quite what they had hoped. That being said, here is the final Editor's Poll for the season.
