2025 Hawks Invitational (HS and MS)

 

Dear Cross-Country Coach,

 

            The South Harrison High School and Middle School Cross Country Teams would like to invite you and your teams to the 4th Annual Hawks Invitational . 

 

When:              Saturday, September 6th, 2025 (HS and MS)

 

Where:             South Harrison High School and Middle School

 

Schedule:      Course Tour- begins 7am, race packet pickup at Track Finish Line

8:30 am High School Coaches Meeting, Start Line (soccer field)  

9:00 am High School Girls Race

9:45 am High School Boys Race

HS Awards 10 minutes after the completion of the boys race

10:00am Middle School Coaches Meeting, Start Line (soccer field)

10:30am Middle School Girls Race

11:15am Middle School Boys Race

MS Awards 10 minutes after the completion of the boys race

 

Entry Fees:   High School/Middle School-

$50 for each team ($100 for both boys & girls teams)

                     $10 per runner if you do not have a full team

 

High School Teams- Make checks payable to  SHHS Cross Country .  Send all H.S. entry fees to South Harrison High School 3073 Hawk Hwy, Lost Creek WV 26385, attention Chad Feathers.

 

Middle School- Make checks payable to SHMS Cross Country Team. Send all M.S. entry fees to South Harrison Middle School 3003 Hawk Hwy, Lost Creek WV 26385, attention Sara Lechner.

 

Or just bring entry fee when you come to the meet.

 

Admission will be charged for spectators at the Green House Gate. Parking in school parking lot.

 

 

 

                       

Awards:          Following the Boys Race, on the Track, fans in the stands.

Plaques for 1st and 2nd place teams in each division

                        Medals for individuals will be 1-15.

 

 

Tent City- Softball outfield

                                         

Course:            Event very spectator friendly. Start line- Soccer Field, Finish Line- Track Finish Line. Spectators can view the event from the Track Bleachers or on foot, it is Cross Country!!!

                       

Miscellaneous:  Concessions and T-shirts will be available! There will be no separate JV races.  You just run all your runners together; your first 7 to finish will be the only ones that will count in the scoring. We are only accepting entries via www.athletic.net.  The deadline for entries is Friday, September 5th, 2025.    If you have questions you may e-mail Chad Feathers at cfeathers@k12.wv.us or call/text me at 304-672-5304.
