Directions:
Once again the meet will be held at the 4-H camp here are the directions:
This course is approximately 10 miles past the
(Iron Horse) on route 33 east. You may want to add 20 to 30 minutes to
your departure time. (Here is the exact mileage if you set your odometer.
(When you get to the Iron Horse) It is:
(1.)
7 miles to the (4-H Camp sign/Files Creek
Road). You will go through your 1st light with the federal building to your right. Go through 2nd light with Krogers/McDonalds to your
right. This will put you on the 4 lane, 33 East. Go through 3rd light with Bob Evans to your right, then 4th light with Wal-Mart to your left, and
through your last light with Elkins High School sign to your right.
Continue on 4 lane until it runs out and then you should be coming into the
town of Beverly. Once in Beverly, you are looking for the 4-H Camp/Files
Creek Road sign on the LEFT. (3/4 mile to this sign, (give or take a tenth).
Make this left onto this road.
(2.)
Once on Files Creek Road travel 2.3 miles to your
next 4-H Camp road sign. There is a sharp “S”turn with the Post Office to
your right. This is a curve road not bad. Once you pass the “Sugar
Creek Road” sign on your left, YOU will make the next right, the 4-H sign will
be there.
(3.)
Now you are on the (4-H Camp Road), travel .6 tenths
of a mile, and the course will be on your left. If in a bus, stop or pull
over to unload kids. Buses will be parked at a different location.
This could change though, and there will be someone there to direct you.
