Mason Run Invitational

Date: September 21, 2010

Location: Mason Run Farm – Directions, I-68 to the Bruceton Mills Exit #23. Turn left (if coming from Morgantown) onto Route 26 North. Continue on 26 for approx. 4.5 miles. Look for the Salem Church sign on left and turn at the sign (there is no highway sign). Continue on this road for approx. 1 mile (bearing left with the paved road when going through the “T”). Mason Run Farm – large dairy barns will be on the right. Turn into farm & follow arrows. Ample parking is available in fields above barns.

Course – Course is on a working dairy farm complete with dairy cows & “cow patties”. The running path is all mowed grass & has several challenging hills. It is a 1.8 mile single loop.

Schedule –

· 3:30 – 4:30 Walk the course

· 4:45 Varsity Girls Race

· 5:15 Varsity Boys Race

· 5:45 Combined JV Race

· 6:15 or as soon as possible Brief awards presentation

Awards – Top 3 varsity teams (trophy) and top 10 varsity finishers (special T –shirt)

Entry Fee - $30 per team or $50 for both girls & boys. If teams are incomplete then $2 per individual runner. No charge for JV teams or runners. Make checks payable to Bruceton School. Mail to Bruceton School, PO Box 141, Bruceton Mills WV, 26525.

Concessions – Light concessions will be available as well as a limited number of race T-shirts
