Invitational Moved From Ritchie Co HS to North Bend State Park
Due to construction on the Ritchie
County High
School campus the W.Va. Insurance Invitational on October 4th
has been moved to the new campground at North Bend State Park. The campground is located on the Harrisville
side of the park above the marina. The
course is laid out on former farmland above the North Bend Lake.
The course is gently rolling and viewer friendly. The surface is almost entirely a grass
surface. We will have exclusive access
to the bathhouse facilities at the campground including restrooms and
showers.

Middle School Awards – after completion of boys race
High School Girls 11:00
High School Boys 11:40
At this time we will not run a High School JV race unless we
receive more entries or comments. The
first seven runners that finish will be considered for scoring.

Directions
We recommend using the Ellenboro exit from US Route 50. For schools coming from the Parkersburg
direction the Cairo
exit will result in a long and curvy bus ride through the entire park.
From the Ellenboro
exit of US Route
50 take Route 16 south to Harrisville.
Follow the signs to North
Bend State
Park. The
entrance to the campground is 6.7 miles from US route 50 and approximately 1.5
miles from the intersection of Routes 16 and 31 in Harrisville. Additional signs will be posted. The bus trip from Rt 50 should take 10 to 15 minutes.
We have extended the entry deadline to Thursday October 2
for any additional schools that wish to attend.
We prefer Hy-tek files but we will be happy to

Entry
Fees: $60.00 for both High School Varsity teams: $35.00 for one varsity team:
$40.00 for both Middle School varsity teams: $25.00 for one Middle school team:
$10.00 per High School runner, $6.00 per Middle School runner. Make checks payable to Ritchie County
High School.
