The recommendation by the Cross Country Coaches' Committee to change the criteria of advancement to the State Cross Country Meet has been rejected. Advancement criteria will remain as it was last season.

It is my understanding the the WVSSAC Board of Directors, despite the support of the WVSSAC itself, rejected this proposal on the grounds of current economic conditions.
