Dear Coaches and Athletic Directors:

The Athletic Department at Jefferson High School would like to invite your teams to participate in the Jefferson Cross-Country Invitational. The course is run almost exclusively on grass and features rolling terrain. It is spectator friendly and has the potential to be fast yet it is still somewhat challenging.

Pertinent information is as follows:

Schedule:

2:15 p.m. Course Walk

4:00 p.m. Girls Varsity Race

4:45 p.m. Boys Varsity Race

5:15 p.m. Combined JV Races (may be separated if the field is too large)

Awards:

à Trophies will be presented to the first place boys and girls varsity teams.

à Medals will be awarded to the top ten individual finishers in each varsity race.

à Ribbons will be awarded to the top six JV boys and girls finishers

Entry Fee:

Schools should mail the entry fee of $65 to JHS by August 22, 2007. Checks should be made payable to JHS Athletics and mailed to:
