To all the runners in WV. Devin was the senior who ran the Chick-fill-a in 2005 and then was diagnosed with cancer. He is still under going chemo in New York City but is nearing the end of real chemo only 6 more weeks-- been doing that since October. Then it will be 18 weeks of maintenance chemo in Ohio. This is hardly anything in that he shouldn't end up in the hospital. Devin's tried to run a few times but having a port inserted under his skin in his chest has hindered him and the fact that one of the chemo makes his toes numb so he really hasn't done miles. He does walk to chemo and from chemo everyday no matter the weather including the 29 inch snow. (Nothing for you guys but really bad for the Big Apple) Initally he lost 14 pounds but now he is a fat 157 which is more than he weighed when running.
