Head Coach Position Available:

Northern High School in Calvert County Md. is seeking a new Head Varsity Coach to fill a position for indoor, outdoor, and cross-country, coaching.

This is an ideal position for a coaching candidate who has distance and coach management experience. The position includes but is not limited to directing three assistant coaches, who handle sprinters and field events. We are looking for a coach that can build a program and inspire student athletes to achieve at the highest level of their ability. We need a coach that can design workouts and instill a running philosophy in each athlete.

Northern High School is under the MPSSAA (Maryland Public Secondary School Athletic Association) and with a teaching position, this job ranks as the second highest paying in the State of Maryland. The School is located in Southern Maryland. Its rural living setting is nested between both the Putuxant River and the West Bank of the Chesapeake Bay at 2950 Chaneyville Road, Owings, Maryland, 20736.

The majority of Northern High School coaches are not faculty teachers and this position, as Head Track Coach does not require you to be in the teaching rank.
