2006 Doddridge County Invitational

Dear Cross-Country Coach,
The Doddridge County High School and Middle School Cross-Country Teams would like to invite you and your teams to the 2006 “Doddridge County Invitational”. This year we will have the event on Tuesday, September 12. (We will still have the annual Doddridge Middle School Invitational on October 10, though.) Notice that the high school races will be before the middle school races! This is because the high school meet is a “Pre-Regional” meet and some high school teams will be traveling long distances home after the meet.
Date: Tuesday, September 12
Schedule: 4:30pm High School Boys (5K)
5:05pm High School Girls (5K)
5:40pm Middle School Boys (3K)
6:05pm Middle School Girls (3K)
Entry Fees: High School - $30 for each team – ($50 for boys and girls)
Middle School - $30 for each team – ($50 for boys and girls)
$5 per runner if you do not have a full team
Awards: High School – Trophies for 1st and 2nd place teams
Trophies for individual placers 1 – 10
Medals for individual placers 11 – 20
Middle School – Same as for the high school division!
Course: Two creek crossings and medium rolling hills for HS & MS runners
An additional significant hill climb for the high school runners
Miscellaneous: 1) There will be no separate JV
races. Just run all of your runners
together, your first 7 to finish will be the only ones that will count in the
scoring. Please e-mail me at the address
below if you are interested in coming. We
plan on using a computer scoring system, so completed entry forms will be
required. If you have Hy-Tek’s Team Manager or Team Manager Lite,
you can submit entries that way.
Otherwise, fax entries to 1-775-655-5335 please! Send all entry fees to Craig Kellar at

2) Special “Doddridge County Invitational” T-Shirts will be on sale at the meet. See you on the 12th!
