Dear Coach:

 

Charleston Catholic and Capital High Schools wish to extend an invitation to your Middle School Cross Country Teams to participate in the Fall Classic Invitational.  The meet will be held at Camp Virgil Tate on Thursday September 7, 2006.  The meet is sanctioned by the S.S.A.C.

 

There will be two (2) races.  (Boys middle school and Girls middle school.)  Only the top seven(7) on your team will be scored.  You may enter as many runners as you wish, but all runners after the top seven will be removed and team scores will then be added. 

 

A computer scoring system will be employed again this year, and we need the names of your runners with your entry form.  Scratches, changes, additions and deletions will be allowed at the check-in table the day of the race.

 

Approximate  Time:                  Boys Middle School Race                                       4:45 pm

                                                            Girls Middle School Race                                        5:15 pm

                                                            Awards (presented in race order)               6 pm

 

Entry Fees:          Girl’s Middle School Team                          $30

                                    Boy’s Middle School Team                          $30

                                    Both Boy’s & Girls Team                                          $60

                                    Individual Middle school runners with no team       $5.00 per runner

 

 

Awards:                 Girls Middle School Team              1st  and 2nd   place trophy

                        Boys Middle School Team                         1st  and 2nd   place trophy

 

                                    Girls Middle School              1st  and 2nd   place trophy                 3 - 20 ribbons

                                    Boys Middle School  1st  and 2nd   place trophy                 3 - 20 ribbons
