The Wapiti Runners, a youth running in the Elk area, is holding a series of youth cross country runs this summer in Clendenin. We have already had our first race on June 11 and mostly only club members raced with the exception of a few. We would like to invite other runners to attend. We have 3 different races and 5 different age groups. The youngest group is 10 and under and they will run 1 mile. The next group, 11-12 years old, run 2 miles. The next race is 3 miles with age groups 13-14, 15-16, and 17-18. Race dates remaining are July 4 and August 6. Both races start at 8:00 am with registration at 7:00 am. Entry fee is $8 per race.
