Invitational
Dear Cross Country Coach,
The Tyler Consolidated Middle and High School Cross Country teams would like to invite you to the Knights Invitational Cross Country Meet. We hope to begin an annual event that can grow and become better each year. We hope you will consider attending our meet this year.
Date: Saturday, September 24th, 2005
Location: Boreman Elementary School and the Tyler County Fair grounds
Located on route 18, East of Middlebourne, WV.
Time: Coaches meeting – 9:15 a.m.
Girls Varsity race – 9:30 a.m. (reserves also included in all races)
Boys Varsity race – 5 minutes after the last girl finishes.
Girls Middle School race – 5 minutes after the last boy finishes.
Boys Middle School race – 5 minutes after the last girl finishes.
Awards: There will be awards for team champion and runner up. Top ten individuals in each race will also receive awards.
Cost: Entry fee will be $20.00 per team. (Boys & Girls teams are separate.) Entry fee’s can be hand delivered to me at the meet or mailed to:

Entry Deadline: Monday, September 19th, 2005
Course: For High School athletes the course will be 5,000 meters and Middle School will be 3,000 meters. All mostly flat with grassy surfaces and one small creek crossing, (not through deep water). The start and finish areas are in close proximity and viewer friendly. Any suggestions on how to improve our course for next year would be greatly appreciated.
