2006 FOREST FESTIVAL CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL

Dear Coach,

We would like to invite you to the one of the most competitive, most challenging, and most scenic meets in West Virginia. Elkins High School is proud to be the host to one of the oldest cross country meets in the state. Our course at Davis & Elkins College has been host to the West Virginia State Cross Country Championships in the past. Please come and enjoy a unique experience with your team.

Event times: Varsity boys 11:00am

Varsity girls 11:45am

Combined JV 12:45pm

Awards 1:30pm

Entry Fee: $50.00 for two varsity teams; $30 for one varsity team; $5.00 per individual. There will be no charge for JV runners.

Course: 5000 meters, open fields, woodland trails, stream crossings, variety of

terrain.

A concession stand will be provided by EHS Boosters

Meet T-shirts will be on sale near the concession area.

Coach’s packets will be at the meet site with directions, course maps and scoring materials. Scoring will be Hy-tek.
