2005 Doddridge County Invitational

Dear Cross-Country Coach,

The Doddridge County High School and Middle School Cross-Country Teams would like to invite you and your teams to the 2005 “Doddridge County Invitational”. This year we will have the event on Tuesday, September 13. (We will still have the annual Doddridge Middle School Invitational on October 11, though.)

Date: Tuesday, September 13

Schedule: 4:30pm Middle School Girls (3K)

4:55pm Middle School Boys (3K)

5:20pm High School Girls (5K)

5:55pm High School Boys (5K)

Entry Fees: High School - $30 for each team – ($50 for boys and girls)

Middle School - $20 for each team – ($35 for boys and girls)

$5 per runner if you do not have a full team

Awards: High School – Trophies for 1^st and 2^nd place teams

Trophies for individual placers 1 – 10

Medals for individual placers 11 – 20

Middle School – Trophies for 1^st and 2^nd place teams

Medals for top 15 finishers

These awards will be given out at the conclusion of the meet.

Course: Two creek crossings and medium rolling hills for HS & MS runners

An additional significant hill climb for the high school runners

Miscellaneous: 1) There will be no separate JV races. Just run all of your runners together, your first 7 to finish will be the only ones that will count in the scoring. Please e-mail me at the address below if you are interested in coming. We will send out entry information this summer so that it will be at your school when you go back. We plan on using a computer scoring system, so completed entry forms will be required..

2) Special “Doddridge County Invitational” T-Shirts will be on sale at the meet. See you on the 13^th!
