COURSE: It is challenging with a blend of hills, woods, trails,
fields and one small stream crossing. It is very spectator
friendly and is all around the school. It will finish on the
track with a 3/4 lap to the line and plenty of bleacher seating to
watch.
The
Meet:
The race last year was super with 18 boys and 18 girls
varsity teams. We also had around 10 to 12 middle school teams each.
The meet went without any problems that we know of and had over 25 spotters
placed out on the course with bright shirts for the runners to see. Trainers
were on duty (about 5, I think), meet t-shirts (something bright in 05 -- just
wait), hospitality room, great food at concession stand, and plenty of nice
people to talk with. The race was announced throughout the run,
mentioning leaders at certain points of the race. Great finish on the
track with a 3/4 lap to the finish and a bleacher full of fans to support each
runner. Our people love Cross Country and it shows with the support to
the race from staff, administration, boosters, community, and friends. We
feel like we want to make it a show and one you want to come back for. I
would love to make this the biggest meet in the state for the kids and for the
people here who support these kids. Please fill out the form below and
let me know if you plan to be apart of this great meet on Sept. 10th of
2005. This will give me an insight to the work I need to prepare for and
let you know of any improvements.

Entry fee: $50.00 for both high school varsity teams; or $30.00 for
one varsity team; $30.00 for both middle school teams; or $15.00 for
one middle school team; $5.00 per high school runner; $3.00 per middle
school runner; there is no charge for JV Runners.
