    The Ritchie County High School Cross-Country team would like to invite you and your team to the WV Insurance Rails Trails Classic.

Awards:   Middle School 11:30, Varsity top 15 awards
                      Team 1st & 2nd Place
          High School 12:45, Varsity top 20 awards
                      Team 1st , 2nd , & 3rd place
                      Top 6th Man & Women (a teams best 6th place
                      finisher, with the best time overall)

Location:   Ellenboro WV, along Rt. 50 between Parkersburg &
            Clarksburg.  School can be seen from the 4-lane.

COURSE:  It is challenging with a blend of hills, woods, trails, fields and one small stream crossing.  It is very spectator friendly and is all around the school.  It will finish on the track with a 3/4 lap to the line and plenty of bleacher seating to watch.

Our first invitational:  We have discussed it for the past couple of years and saw a need on this day to offer one in the North area of the state.  We hope to offer a first class meet that will continue to improve each year.  I will try and put a committee together that will look at all the needs that will take care of coaches, fans and most of all runners.  We also hope to offer on the site trainers for safety needs.  Look forward to seeing you and giving us a chance to make ours one of the top invitationals on your schedule.

Entry fee:  $50.00 for both high school varsity teams; or $30.00 for one varsity team; $30.00 for both middle school teams; or $15.00 for one middle school team; $5.00 per high school runner; $3.00 per middle school runner; there is no charge for JV Runners.
