 Dear High School Coaches,

 

Due to the large number of high school junior varsity athletes entered in the Mountaintop Combo, we have decided to hold separate races for the boys and girls.  We will be starting half an hour early because of this additional race.  Below is an updated schedule of events for the Mountaintop Combo. 

 

9:00 a.m.        High School Coaches’ Meeting

10:00 a.m.      High School Varsity Boys

10:30 a.m.      High School Varsity Girls

11:00 a.m.      High School Junior Varsity Boys

11:30 a.m.      High School Junior Varsity Girls

12:00 p.m       High School Awards

12:00 p.m       Middle School Coaches’ Meeting

1:00 p.m.        Middle School Varsity Boys

1:30 p.m.        Middle School Varsity Girls

2:00 p.m.        Middle School Combined Junior Varsity

 

Due to the construction of our new track complex, the start and finish of the high school races will be on the football field.  The football field is located behind Preston High.  Buses can drop off athletes and equipment at the football field.  The buses will then be directed to the county bus garage to park.  Head coaches or vehicles hauling equipment can park in the back of the school.  All other vehicles will park in front of Preston High.   Team tents can be placed in the upper section of the bleachers or in the grassy area by the long jump and pole vault runways.  In addition, the concourse area of Preston High will be open for athletes to warm-up and stretch. 

 

Below is the final list of teams that will be attending the Mountaintop Combo.  We look forward to hosting several great races on Saturday, September 25th.
