2003 Doddridge County Invitational

Dear Cross-Country Coach,

The Doddridge County High School and Middle School Cross-Country Teams would like to invite you and your teams to the 2003 “Doddridge County Invitational”. This year we will have the event on Tuesday, September 16. (We will still have the annual big middle school meet on October 14, though.)

Date: Tuesday, September 16

Schedule: 5:00pm Middle School Boys (3K)

5:25pm Middle School Girls (3K)

5:50pm High School Boys (5K)

6:25pm High School Girls (5K)

Entry Fees: High School - $20 for each team – ($20 for boys and $20 for girls)

Middle School - $15 for each team – ($15 for boys and $15 for girls)

(If you have very low numbers on a team, call for special pricing.)

Awards: High School – Trophies for 1^st and 2^nd place teams

Trophies for individual placers 1 – 10

Ribbons for individual placers 11 – 20

Middle School – Trophies for 1^st and 2^nd place teams

Ribbons for top 20 finishers

These awards will be given out at the conclusion of the meet.

Course: Two creek crossings and medium rolling hills for HS & MS runners

An additional significant hill climb for the high school runners

Miscellaneous: 1) There will be no separate JV races. Just run all of your runners together, your first 7 to finish will be the only ones that will count in the scoring. You don’t even have to send us entry names, just turn in the names with the “sticks” after the race! (It would be helpful if you would call or e-mail me and let me know how many runners you will be having in each race.)

2) Special “Doddridge County Invitational” T-Shirts will be on sale at the meet. See you on the 16^th!
