Predicted A-AA Girls Team Results

Grafton and Charleston Catholic have battled back and forth for the
Power Ranking lead all season long with Charleston Catholic having it
early, Grafton leading for the middle part of the season, and Charleston
Catholic taking back over late.  However, both teams were soundly defeated
by Frankfort at the Chick-fil-A Invitational.  Those are the three teams
who will battle for the title.  A standout performance by Ritchie could
leap them into the top three if any of the big guns stumble.  Braxton
and St. Marys should battle for fifth place.

Predicted A-AA Girls Top 25

Clara Grandt has gone through the season undefeated against A-AA competition.
Jennifer Povick is certainly a contender though, finishing a mere 8 seconds
behind Grandt at the Chick-fil-A Invitational.  Povick will also be 
pulling double duty on Saturday as she has Soccer Regionals in the 
afternoon.  Somewhat of a wildcard in the mix is Freshman Valerie Peer.
She didn't run in any of the major in-state meets but had resounding
success in most of the smaller meets.  Megan Docherty has been solid
all season long, as has another Freshman, Maggie McCort.  The battle
for All-State recognition will be fierce.  Those tabbed as pre-meet
favorites for the remaining spots are Sarah Coyle, Lauren Hutzell, 
Sally Mohler, Jamie Cokeley, and Tina Watson.
