The POLAR BEAR CLASSIC is a cross-country race open to all ages and sexes. Everyone competes against everyone! No divisions!

The race is a 5km, grassy cross-country course ran on the APPLE VALLEY GOLF COURSE in Fairmont, WV. It will be ran prior to the 14^TH ANNUAL TIMES INVITATIONAL CROSS-COUNTRY MEET. Anyone can participate except those in the High School or Jr. High School races.

The first three finishers of the race will win a T-shirt. The entry fee is $5.00 per competitor. All proceeds will benefit the FSHS Boy’s and Girl’s Cross-Country Teams.

You will be the first to lay tracks on the course! You will have the opportunity to chase the wildlife before the crowd scares them away. You can experience the solitude of the early morning outdoors doing your favorite activity, Running.
