Do to the change in the state meet course, the Charleston Catholic High School Cross Country Invitational has also changed.  The meet will still be held at Camp Virgil Tate, but the course has been modified.  The second hill has been removed, leaving only one hill in an attempt to create a faster course.

 

Charleston Catholic High & Middle School wishes to extend an invitation to your High School and Middle School Cross Country Teams to participate in the 8th C.C.H.S. Invitational.  The meet will be held at Camp Virgil Tate on Wednesday October 2, 2002.  The meet is sanctioned by the SSAC.

 

There will be three races.  (Girls high school, Middle School boys & girls combined, and boys high school.)  Only the top seven(7) on your team will be scored.  You may enter as many runners as you wish, but all runners after the top seven will be removed and team scores will then be added.

                                                            Middle School (boys & girls combined) Race       5:25pm

                                                            Girls High School Race                                            6:00pm

                                                            Awards (presented in race order)                           6:45pm

 

Entry Fees:                      Girl’s High School Team                                          $25.00

                                    Boy’s High School Team                                         $25.00

                                    Both Boy’s & Girls Team                                          $45.00

                                    Individual high school runners with no team           $5.00 per runner

 

                                    Girls Middle School Team                                       $15.00

                                    Boys Middle School Team                                       $15.00

                                    Both boys & girls Team                                            $25.00

                                    Individual Middle School runners with no team      $3.00 per runner

 

Awards:                 Girls High School Team                   1st  and 2nd and 3rd place trophy
