This is a new feature to RunWV.com Cross Country Coverage. The Power Rankings are directly derived from the individual runner rankings, basically scoring them as if they were a cross country meet, and the runners finished just as they are ranked. The Power Rankings will gain validity as the season progresses and runners rise or drop to their true status. To qualify for the Power Rankings, a team must have three ranked runners. Teams with only two ranked runners will be considered only if there are fewer than 10 teams with three ranked runners.
