NOVICE MEET

Wednesday August 29, 2001

The Novice meet (for first year runners) will be held at Witco Park on Wednesday August 29, 2001 at 5:00 p.m. This is a race open to runners who have not run high school cross-country before this season. The intent of this race is to give these young men and women a chance to complete at the 5K distances without the more experience runners. There is no entry fee. The race for the middle school group is open to all runners (they do not have to be rookies) and they will run a 2K. Awards to the top 15 in the high school races and to the top 15 in the middle school races. Please have a list of all runners to me by Tuesday of that week. 

3:30 - 5:00 	Tour the course on your own
5:00 		Middle school girls
5:15 		Middle school boys
5:30 		High school Novice Women's Race
6:15 		High school Novice Men's Race
6:45 		OPEN time trial you must get the times for your runners
