Predicted AAA Boys Team Results

Cabell Midland has been untouchable all season long, and there is no
reason to believe they will fall from that perch at the state meet.
While they likely won't have a contender for the individual crown (and
could even come out of the meet without an all-state representative),
their quality depth is simply superior to the other teams. The battle
for the runner-up spot should be pretty tight. Fairmont Senior always
seems to step things up a level for the state meet. Their fight will
be with George Washington, who performed extremely well at the Forest
Festival. The four through nine spots are really up for grabs. Our
tally shows only a difference of 13 points between 4th and 9th. That
means it's really anybody's race to win. If your team performs well,
they could move up multiple positions. If they don't, you could drop
multiple positions. It's up for grabs. Who wants it?

Predicted Boys AAA Top 25

This should be one of the more exciting AAA races in recent memory.
Expect a pack to still be together at the two mile mark. Keith Rand
nearly made it through the season unscathed. Only a single loss to
Jay Urse in a mid-week meet blemished his regular season record. Jay
Urse, Tyler Devault, Justin Cox, and Shane Ruggles all finished within
8 seconds of Rand at the Forest Festival, meaning they are indeed threats
to take the title. Ben Lukowski performed below expectations at the
Forest Festival, but should also contend for the title as he has dominated
the southern part of the state. Zach Sabatino, Ryan Smith, and Richard
Kitching are dark horses to win. Sabatino has run behind Lukowski all
season, but beat him at the Forest Festival. Smith is a relative unkown.
He's performed very well in the meets we received, but we didn't receive
very many. He finished only six seconds behind Rand at the regional meet.
Kitching led a good portion of the Forest Festival before stumbling and
losing his concentration. Prepare for some excitement because this is
going to be good.
