well since other runners are voicing there opinions im going to go ahead and let mine be heard. I am very excited about the state meet returning to Elkins. Elkins is the way a cross country course should be. The state meet at williamstown was too flat. Elkins is a course that you have to train hard for. It is a strength course over a speed course. The runners that do good at Elkins are the ones that have been training hard in the offseason, they are the ones that have put in everything into there running. Thats what i like about Elkins is that it seperates the real runners from the Aug to Oct runners. I take pride in knowing that our state meet course is one of the hardest in the United States and i think college coachs will respect that also. Good luck to everyone this coming cross country season.
