Enclosed you will find information for our High School/College Cross
Country Invitational. We hope you will be able to attend:
1) TENTATIVE START TIMES for SEPTEMBER 15-16th RACES:

SATURDAY-SEPTEMBER 16
8:00 am- HS PACKET PICK-UP (Finish Line)
8:00 am- HS COACHES MEETING (Finish Line)
9:00 am- HS FRESHMEN Girls 5K Race
9:30 am- HS FRESHMEN Boys 5K Race
10:00 am- HS VARSITY Girls 5K Race
10:30 am- HS VARSITY Boys 5K Race
11:00 am- HS JV Girls 5K Race
11:30 am- HS JV Boys 5K Race
12:00 pm- AWARDS CEREMONY
For All High School Races (Finish Line)
2) ENTRY DEADLINE-Entries and Entry Fee Must be received by MONDAY,
SEPTEMBER 11, 2000 at 3:00 PM.
3) Coaches-Seven athletes will run in the VARSITY race. All of your
other athletes will run in their respective (boys or girls) JV race or freshmen races. Remember, you can enter as many athletes as you want
in the meet.

$5.00 Per Each Athlete Entered (Unlimited Entries)
Maximum of $50.00 per Boy's team
Maximum of $50.00 per Girl's team
Maximum of $100.00 per combined Boy's/Girl's team
ALL ENTRIES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
6) PACKET PICK-UP: You may pick-up packets at the Finish Line on
Saturday morning, starting at 8:00 am.
7) COURSE MAPS: We will include a course map in your packet.

9) HOME FOOTBALL GAME: This is the HOME RUTGERS FOOTBALL GAME
day...ANYONE under the age of 18 will be able to purchase a football ticket
for $10...Call FAR in advance for tickets...(800) VA TECH4 or (800)
828-3244...The meet will be completed prior to kick-off time of 1:00PM. We
suggest you call early for hotel rooms (see attached list).
10) BONUS-INDOOR MEET INVITATION: Again this year we will offer
guaranteed entry to our indoor high school track & field meets to any team
that competes in our cross country meet September 16th, 2000. The dates of
the indoor meets are: January 5-6 and January 27-28. So, why worry about
the number of schools that attend our high school indoor meets...Attend our
great cross country meet and guarantee your team a spot this winter.
