Despite not being awarded the State Championship Cross Country meet, the Wood County Invitational (formerly known as the Little Run Farm Invitational) will still be held.

The meet will be held on September 23, 2000 at the Interstate Fairgrounds in Mineral Wells, WV.

This year's meet will feature a college division with WVU, Virginia Tech, Marshall, Kent State, Akron and others expected to attend.
